Prompt reimbursement & excellent customer service!
We opted for Healthy Paws insurance after doing a fair amount of research online. We are so grateful that we chose Healthy Paws b/c after having the insurance for 4 months, our 7 month old Hound-mix (Maddy) had to go to the animal hospital for a severe GI bug/fever/diarrhea issue. When we took her to the vet, she was shaking uncontrollably and we didn't know what was wrong with her. She was kept overnight for IV fluids, antibiotics, X-rays, blood work, and stool samples. $1550 later, we were concerned about how much money we would be reimbursed. My fiance's car had died the week before and we were trying to plan/pay for our wedding in 2 months. So Maddy's illness came at a horrible time. Healthy Paws had a $1220 reimbursement check in the mail within a week!! It was an amazing relief. My fiance & I recommend that you get the 90% coverage plan; it pays off when you might need it the most. Maddy has made a full recovery and we will absolutely keep her insured with Healthy Paws for the rest of her life, as well as insure any other dog we might adopt in the future.

Get jPet Insurance!
Embrace has accepted my first claim and applied it to my $500.00 deductible, and I am pleased about that. I don't have much experience yet with Embrace (as far as my pet getting sick), but I feel more secure about keeping my pet and not afraid of financial problems like I was before.

Grateful to have this insurance
Big breed dogs generate large medical costs. I am very pleased to have found Embrace. Most recently, my male Dane started unusual gagging episodes. I was referred to a specialist who recommended further testing to eliminate the possibility of cancers. Thankfully, the latter was not the case and medication has helped greatly. ----Embrace offers a good insurance at a fair cost. It eases my mind in the event of possible future health issues.

ALL CLAIMS DENIED
After securing this insurance for my dog and paying my monthly premiums for a year, i submitted a claim for a torn cruciate ligament. This claim was denied citing the reason that i had not fulfilled the full 12 month period before filling a claim. I was 19 days short of a full 12 months. I continued to carry the coverage because it appeared the other leg might have the same trouble. After filling a pre certification, she was denied again because of it being a "bi lateral" condition that was previously denied. This coverage has done nothing but take money from my wallet!!! If you are considering this coverage, do not get it! It has been no help at all to me.

Best Ever!
My two dachshunds have been insured through Embrace for a number of years and I've had a wonderful experience with the company. Each claim and inquiry is responded to promptly and I've never had a claim rejected. The reason I selected Embrace is because it doesn't exclude coverage of illness/injury that dachshunds are prone to (back issues). I highly recommend Embrace to anyone looking for quality coverage and customer service.

Healthy Paws Pet insurance was one of the best decision I have made. My pet is my child, so when I found out that she had to have surgery, I was worried, stressed, and sad. On top of worrying about my dog, I also saw the medical bills rolling in. The Healthy Paws family made sure that during this crazy time, that the claims were taken care of in an easy, no hassle, timely manner. With in 3-5 days of filling out a claim, I received a check in the mail. And, to top it off, they sent me emails asking how my dog was doing after her surgery. When I started looking for insurance for my dog, I checked out several different companies. Then I talked to a friend who has several animals and recommended Healthy Paws and I couldn't be happier.

Professional with a personal touch
Embrace is great so far. We have had it for about 2 years and they have really impressed us. I have contacted them multiple times on the phone and was surprised to talk to a real person each time; usually with no hold time. The employees seem to care and they listen to your concerns and issues. They are are very helpful in solving them with you. They are quick with their payments and there are really no surprises other than great service. I have already recommended them to multiple friends.

The vet faxed the claim form to TruPanion around 5 p.m. after BeBe's last visit. TruPanion acknowledged the claim the next morning and approved payment later in the day, 90% of approved charged (and most were approved) after any deductible.When I have talked with people in the office, they are helpful, courteous, and their love of animals shines through. Their office is, not surprisingly, pet friendly. I recommend TruPanion to everyone I meet who needs pet insurance--and in my opinion, if you have a pet, these days you need insurance.
