Best Pet Insurance Company Ever!
My nine year old golden tore her ACL and meniscus. I had two claims to be processed. The first one was done within 6 days. The second claim within 14 days. The whole ordeal was close to $4,000. There were no questions asked only complete support from start to finish. I received phone calls and emails checking on my dog's progress. My own insurance company for my medical claims is not this caring. It is a pleasure dealing with everyone you talk to and they cannot do enough to make you happy. My dog is about to start water therapy. To have that as an option to the recovery shows Healthy Paws has taken the step into Alternative Therapy which shows they are progressive and interested in what is best for our pets. I have recommended them to friends and family members!

I have four guys. One dog and 3 cats. After our Salem was diagnosed with cancer, we spent over 6,000 dollars for his surgery and treatment. Sadly he passed, but that was when we decided that pet insurance should be checked out for our other 4 guys. I researched 20 different pet insurance companies until I settled on Healthy Paws. Currently our Penrod,(cat), was diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism. I vet suggested at his age getting radioactive iodine treatment done on him. That bill was $1000.00. The insurance we chose was 80% reimbursement, with a $500.00 deductible. After we met his deductible with pior blood work and x-rays, the hospital bill was $1000.00 and we got reimbursed $800.00. I submitted the bill via email and was notified about an hour later that a check was in the mail!!!! Also they sent me a email asking if Penrod was doing OK. My own insurance company does not do this. I was so amazed!!!!! I so highly recommend Healthy Paws!!!! Our next fur babies will surely be insured with them.

Incredibly quick!
On Mar.6, 2013, my 10 month German Shepherd pup tore out a toe nail. This required immediate vet care to treat the wound and stop the bleeding. I filed my Healthy Paws claim the same day (using their easy downloadable pre-filled form). To my astonishment, on Mar. 11, I already received my check in the mail. I've used other pet insurers and have never had such efficient service. Amazing!

I turned in my claim for my dog's eye infection from my Vet and got a response notifying me that the check for this issue has been issued and in the mail within 3 days elapsed time, which is quite good.

After several incidents of back leg lameness from our year old lab mix, that her sibling didn't show after the same type of activity, full run, playing in the snow, fetching, we decided to take her in for the vet to look at. Although, it usually just took a day to recoup we wanted to make sure there wasn't an underlying problem. After careful examination, it was determined she should have x-rays. Knowing we had insurance gave us the confidence to fully investigate the problem. Trupanion insurance, gave notice when they received the claim, when they mailed the reimbursement, and now a follow-up to make sure all was right. Lyla had no injury, and we just make sure she rests for a day or so if she shows limping, and make every attempt not to let her exert herself to lameness. This is our first time with pet insurance, and it's proven to be a great decision.

My dog had 2 overnights and emergency surgery for cancer. Luckily I had gotten insurance for him 1 1/2 years ago due to fear of another issue. Trupanion had a check to me for 90% of the surgery and overnights within a week. It was really nice to know as everything was falling apart that at least money was not a big deal!

My dog had to have patella surgery. After submitting our claim, we were reimbursed quickly for all expenses excluding the initial exam and deductible. I am very pleased with this company and recommend them to others.
