Embrace has become even faster to address claims. They provide a complete explanation of their policy along with an itemized EOB. My wellness claim for Pancho's annual physical was paid in full. This is even better than my personal health insurance.

Very Fair and Veterinarian Recommended
Isis was very helpful and answered my questions about a determination of my claim. She explained how it came about and that I could appeal the decision. I said I wouldn't appeal it, because it was fair, but I wanted to know how your decision came about. She passed my inquiry along and told me she would get back to me. Thereafter, Isis called me and told me that your company adjusted the claim decision to my benefit. This company is very, very fair and several veterinarians we have spoken with say that their impression of the company is excellent.

Make sure all your dates fall within the policy period. I was one day early on one of my vet appts and it was not covered. However, the remaining visits were.

Accidents happen, but we were covered
Our dog Summer is a bit of an adventurer. We often bring her for long hikes in the mountains. One morning after a long week of downpours, we awake to a glorious day. We packed up a day pack and set out with Summer for a beautiful morning of hiking. About 2 1/2 hours into the hike Summer ran through a thicket and barked a small animal up a tree. It appeared to be a small bear cub and fearing a momma would be close behind we frantically called for her to return. As she approached we easily determined she had chased a porcupine and had a face full of quills. We had a one hike back to the car and could not wait to get her to the vet. It was a Holiday weekend and of course the Vet bill was substantial, thank goodness we have Pet Insurance. Our claim was quickly processed and after speaking to numerous friends in the area we felt very fortunate that because we have Insurance for our dog, the idea of painfully pulling them out was not an option. Accidents happen and we have been very pleased with our coverage.

Didn't have to worry when our cat got sick
Our beloved Moustachio was diagnosed with feline lymphoma and had to undergo a series of tests. As difficult as the situation was, it was made easier by the fact that we didn't worry about whether we could afford Moustachio's care. The doctors did what they needed to do, and we had the reimbursement money back in our account within a week. It is wonderful not having to worry about whether an insurance company will pay their claims or not. Pet owners with sick pets have enough stress as it is. I am very grateful to Pet's Best for giving us peace of mind, and allowing for us to provide for our pet's health care needs without breaking the bank.

Good coverage for my cat's diabetes!
I called Pets Best recently because I couldn't remember if my cat, Phil's, policy had been renewed. Not only was it up to date, but I learned that his diagnosis of diabetes was covered by his policy, which was a tremedous blessing. Jayne, the customer care person there was so helpful and so personable. What a wonderful company and employee. Thank you Pets Best!

ASPCA helps us afford the best care
MY PHOEBE HAD A SERIOUS REACTION TO THE ROUTINE INOCULATIONS. IT TOOK MONTHS TO DIAGNOSE HER CONDITION. ASPCA PAID MY CLAIMS IN A TIMELY FASHION. I HAVE BEEN MORE THAN PLEASED WITH THE SERVICE.

What an insurance company should be!
Words cannot convey what a relief it has been since we switched to Healthy Paws Insurance. Prior to Healthy Paws, we had our dog insured with VPI. After his first surgery we quickly realized that VPI was not for us. The amount they reimbursed, which was as promised, only covered 25% of the costs we incurred so we ended up footing most of the bill. After the first surgery I did some research and even called Healthy Paws to make sure they were really going to cover everything they said they were going to. After being assured they would, we switched over and I couldn’t be happier. - Anytime I call – day or night – the customer service agents are more than helpful and understanding of what we’re going through and how stressful the situation is. - They process claims at record speed and truly do what they promise you and cover what they say they'll cover - no exeptions or gray area. - They won’t kick you off or raise your premiums because of multiple claims (I actually just called and asked this yesterday because we are on our second major surgery in 2 months) - Real people actually call you to check up on your pet when they’re sick. No other reason – just to check in and see how the pet is doing. AMAZING! - They’re a charitable company that donates $ to shelters just for referring someone who gets a quote. They don’t even have to buy the insurance - just get a quote. - Yes, the premiums are probably a little bit pricier than other options, but they are 1
