So glad I choose Healthy Paws!
We've never had pet insurance before but when we got our goldendoodle puppy we decided that it might be a good idea. We researched all of the different options and chose to go with Healthy Paws pet insurance because we liked all the different options, you get to choose your deductible and your reinbersment percentage. Our goldendoodle is now about 11 months old and had his first emergency on July 23, 2013. Of course it was after our regular vets hours, so he had to go to the emergency vet. Realizing that he was definitely sick and also knowing that we had pet insurance made us not even hesitate for a second to take him in to emergency. We knew that his care would be expensive but we also knew that the majority of his care would be reimbursed to us. Turns out he ate some mushrooms that were in the yard they treated him and he came home to us the very next day, thank goodness. We faxed over a copy of the emergency vet bill to healthy paws, our reimbursement check was in the mail to us July 31. I think that is an amazing turn around time! I think Healthy paws pet insurance is one of the smartest things we've done with our new puppy, the minimal amount that you pay every month is well worth it when you have an emergency! Healthy Paws pet insurance was amazing to deal with I can't say enough good things about them!

Embrace is a great and carrying company
I love this company. When we were looking at getting our goldens Macy and Maddy I searched pet insurance companies by the reviews submitted by policies owners. I chose Embrace and could not be more pleased. Embrace is very prompt with updates and claims checks. But the most touching part is the follow up emails from Embrace on asking how Macy is doing and if we need anything. If you are looking for pet insurance Embrace is the one!

Our Cockapoo Tevye jumped off the bed and hurt his front paw and started limping around. I took him right to the Vet as this was unusual behavior for our 10 year old champion runner, jumper, and all-around Super-Dog. After examination the Vet said it was a sprain and nothing was broken or "out-of-place." Pain meds and anti-inflamitory meds were given. A claim was submitted and a check was sent. Thanks again. It is nice to know that Tevye is "covered" for what ailes him.

Healthy Paws provided a wonderful experience
Our puppy underwent surgery for spaying and we were surprised to hear that she also required a procedure to shorten her soft palate. While this is seen at times with her breed we were not aware that she had this condition. Healthy Paws reviewed her records and took time to discuss her case with our veterinarian. In the end, they sided in our favor that this was not in fact a pre-existing condition. We were re-imbursed to the full amount of our insurance policy. They were friendly and receptive at all times during this speedy process.

Great Company
I found out about Embrace when I took my puppy to the vet. I asked about pet insurance and they gave me the brochure for Embrace. It is a great company. The reimbursement is very timely and customer service couldn't be better. I highly recommend Embrace to anyone who is considering pet insurance.

Great Communication and easy forms to complete!
Love having this insurance super easy forms and they stay in contact with you throughout the claim. Hope I never have to use the accident form but if I do I feel comfortable knowing Embrace will take care of everything and keep me in the loop. I was skeptical about getting insurance for my new baby shih tzu.Embrace has made it so easy and given me peace of mind knowing she is being taken care of! Avoid this SCAM
They will find any excuse to avoid paying. This insurance will not cover anything above the absolute bare minimum, and their coverage policy is extremely misleading. Your pet needs surgery? Fine, if they can't find a way to somehow tie the cause of the surgery to a pre-existing condition, they will begrudgingly pay for the necessary repair - but not for anesthesia, not for IV fluids, not for anything else. Be prepared for them to find a way to avoid paying for 90% or more of your costs. Save your money and look elsewhere. The insurance policy will make you feel better until you actually need to use it.

Could not be happier!
I have another Pet Ins and put a claim in the same time, I'm still waiting as it has not been processed yet, I already have my check from HPI - less than 30 days!When my Vet asked for a recommendation I was most happy to say HPI!
