AMAZING
My dog Bubu was diagnosed with an ACL tear in both knees. Thankfully he is insured with Healthly Paws. I did not have to worry about the cost of the surgery. Healthy Paws afforded me the easy of mind of only worrying about his health. They processed the claim quickly and although I have not received the check yet, I received notification that it will be mailed to me within 10 days. Sending them the claim and documentation was very easy. To top it all, they have sent emails asking me how is his doing and wishing him a quick recovery. I am so impressed with the company and will highly recommend them.

After my pet was admitted to the hospital, I contacted Healthy Paws to file a claim. Their staff was extremely professional and courteous in handling my claim. They even followed up after my pet came home to see how he was doing. They really care about you and your pet!! Outstanding!!

Fast, friendly, and convenient!
For the past 4 years I have always submitted my claims via mail, then waited up to 10 days for my check. This time I decided to file my claim electronically, and I was quite surprised at how "user friendly" your process is. I also signed up for electronic transfer directly into my bank account. Now instead of a week to 10 days, I received my refund within 48-72 hours.

Our dog was just diagnosed with cancer. Happened very quickly, thought at first to be renal but after pathology confirmed to be sarcoma. I have had Trupanion for about 5 yrs or so. After a couple of yrs the rates went up and I was going to cancel, thinking well the premiums will come out to be the same as the cost of an illness. Well I never cancelled and sooo glad I didn't. Over 3 days we had to pay about $6000 for tests, admission to critical hosp, surgery, ICU, meds Drs fees etc. Trupanion was great. I called to be sure we were covered & they were very caring and helped immensely. Knowing we did not have to decide on care based on money really helped to focus on our dog. We submitted our papers for her care and within a week had reimbursement- amazing. We also were advised to have a pre-approval done for chemotherapy, should she need it. We did & received the quote very quickly as well. For anyone thinking of getting Trupanion, or stopping it , believe me, it is a life saver. Can't say enough about them, they helped us through a very emotional time with our Corgi & will praise them always. Thank you Trupanion!

Disappointed
I purchased Embrace pet insurance thinking I was doing a good thing when I rescued my 3-month old puppy. However, 1-week prior to receiving coverage, my puppy was treated for a bladder infection. Little did I know that this would have resulted in a pre-existing condition and all of my future claims, because my dog is prone to it due to her inverted vulva, have been denied. On top of this all claim processing is extremely slow.

Ariel's Patella Luxation Surgery
Upon return from our beach vacation we noticed Ariel walking funny. After taking her to the vet we were stunned to find out that she had a grade four patella luxation. Little Ariel has not turned one year yet! After contacting Embrace we were relieved that the surgery would be covered under Ariel's policy. We are so happy to have Embrace insurance! We were then able to focus on Ariel's surgery and recovery without worrying about the cost.

I can't say even to know that a decision to save you pets life doesn't have to be based on the fact you can't afford it. I was able to save my dogs life because I had Embrace pet insurance backing me up. They lived up to their claims and paid out even better than I thought I would get. Like they always say about insurance you hope you never have to use it but if you do you hope it pays. Well Embrace Pet Insurance says what they mean and mean what they say. The Payment was fair and the service was great and even faster then they say. One of the best features that puts them out in front of all the rest is there is no per incident limit and that is one of the biggest reasons I chose Embrace. Thank you Embrace Pet Insurance
