Scammers
Agree with all comments made by others, how they request records over and over and try to find a reason not to pay you even when your vet will state something is not pre-existing. They paid for a so called "pre-existing condition last year" and now they don't. But don't go to their website and try to find anything - their claims page is an ABSOLUTE joke. The costs have gone up every year. We'd all be better off if we set aside a little money for our pets to use to pay the bills. Then we could invest it and not them. Like everything else, it is all about the money. By the way, I have pets insured with Trupanion (I will be discontinuing the policies and/or changing to other companies for at least 4 of them). For 5 pets, I pay them over $2,500 a year, and they denied me about $200 on a recent claim because it was pre-existing". Also, save every piece of paperwork from them and your vet, and we'll have tpo start blogging about the correct terminology to be used. Vets don't know - insurance is still new to them, too. If the vet submits the right code (an honest code), you get paid.

I feel this company has betrayed me and my pet.
I have had this insurance for 11 years and have not sent any claims until last year and only a few. After being insured with you her whole life when she is treated for one thing, she is no longer insured for that one ailment. Being insured all these years with you has prevented me from having real insurance coverage on my pet now when I need it. So as long as I paid the premium with no claims you take my money but when I need the coverage you drop her from the coverage she needs. Now at her age it is hard to find another insurance but I will. I sure wish I had been insured with another company all these past years.

I've used Healthy Paws with more than one pet and have recommended them to everyone who will listen. Service is prompt and courteous, claims could not be easier to file and reimbursement is very fast - usually within 3 days of filing the claim. Communication from the company is ongoing and they truly care about my pets. They are so easy to work with and my vet loves them, too. I could not be more pleased!

frustrating
While the staff did give me updates, it took too long. At first I was told they had the records from one animal hospital. A few weeks later, I was told they needed more detailed information from the same hospital. The animal was sick in July, I had the forms submitted then. The case was finally settled and paid in late September.

Refund for Ninja's spay
I was pleasantly surprised to get my refund for my dog Ninja's spay procedure that fast! I received an email specifying approval and cost of refund, and the following day the bank transfer was done!! Truly happy for the excellent service of Embrace. My niece was right in referring Embrace to me.

Prompt payment, Excellent coverage
I've written several positive reviews of Embrace and am glad to do so again. The coverage is really excellent. My kitty has had it for 8+ years and I've had to use it several times to cover expensive emergency procedures. I also have the wellness plan, which I just used. I appreciate getting an email each time, letting me know the claim was received, and again and email letting me know the claim will be paid and by how much. Very good communication and prompt payment.

I only have positive comments -the customer service, enrollment process, communication about claims, and fast payment make EMBRACE a good choice for anyone looking for pet insurance. My 9 month old Australian Shepherd puppy tore her hind leg tendons requiring surgery. I was concerned that the insurance would find something not to pay, however, all was covered (minus deductible and co-insurance). I highly recommend EMBRACE pet insurance.

Great people and support!
I am so thankful we chose healthy paws to cover our 1 year old Golden Retriever. Our perfectly healthy baby, fairly soon after his first birthday, developed an immune mediated muscle disorder. We were devastated when our boy woke up one morning and couldn't get around. It's been a long road but healthy paws has been with us the whole way offering support and have consistently been reachable by phone when we needed further clarification.

We had a pre approval for $700.00 surgery within 48 hours and the vet hospital was paid directly the day after the surgery! What a relief to not have to come up with $7000 and wait for reimbursement! Jamie was awesome and truly cared!
