Great experience with Embrace

This was the second ACL repair for my dog this year. I never would have been able to do both knees in a year if I didn't carry insurance that covers orthopedic surgeries. Embrace made it possible for me to give my dog the ultimate care. They were very responsive to me with both claims and reimbursement was very quick after the claim was filed! Thank you for great service!

Well taken care of and more…..

This is my second year of coverage for my two Pembroke Welsh Corgi. I am very pleased with everything and anything the comes up. From explanation of coverage, renewal, repayment. They communicate well and gives me disclosure. Each time I take my boys to the vet for their wellness, I get an email right away, telling me what is covered, when they received it and when I will get my money back. Quick, Easy and well planned.

Claims paid promptly

I recently had an emergency visit to a 24 hour animal hospital because my loving dog had an allergic reaction to something, to this day unknown. At 10:30 PM on a Friday night I noticed that his face was swollen and he had considerable discomfort, so I called my vet and was referred to the nearest 24 hour animal hospital. They provided excellent care but the charge was fairly high because it was an emergency. My dog recovered quickly after being medicated and I submitted a claim by email to Healthy Paws the same day. within 24 hours my claim was accepted and I received a check in the mail by the end of the week. They followed up with a note asking how my little boy was doing which I thought was a nice touch. I highly recommend Healthy Paws for pet insurance.

Wonderful service

I have had many dogs, but never had pet insurance before. We adopted a "rescued dog" and decided to take out the insurance . Healthy Paws has been wonderful. Unfortunately we have had 3 major vet visits with our little rescue, including one emergency visit. Our vet office has faxed the forms to healthy paws and I have received an email within 3 days explaining my reimbursement, and received the check within a week!! They even emailed me to find out how our dog was feeling after his emergency visit. You can't go wrong with Healthy Paws!

Thankful for ASPCA Pet Insurance

I have had ASPCA Pet insurance coverage for my cat, which I had for 18+ yrs. A month before I had to put my cat to sleep, I acquired a puppy. I reviewed other insurance carriers but opted to stay with ASPCA since I've always had good experience with them. The puppy is now a 3 yr old German Shepherd, Rottweiler, Chow Chow mix dog. He has a thick chart at his vet's office since I became pet parent at 8 wks old. He is a very active and curious dog who seems to be prone to accidents and illnesses and being a first time pet parent to a dog his size (yes, all 118 lbs of him!) only adds to the equation. When he was 2 mos old, I ended up with a $600+ vet bill for ER service. I regreted the fact that I didn't purchase pet insurance for him at Day 1. In October of 2012 I noticed a lump on his neck which was growing. In March 2013, a surgery was needed to remove the lump which we later found to be a cancerous mast tumor. Due to him being a very active and easily exciteable dog and the placement, his incision (over 6 inches long) busted open multiple times, requiring 3 more surgeries to repair it. It healed very well, no chemo, and no recurrence so far. Per doctor's order, I check his whole body everyday to check for lumps and every 3 mos for vet check. I don't know what I would have done if I didn't have pet insurance that covered at least 80% of the cost of the vet bills not just from this incident. At one point I thought of canceling the insurance and just opening a savings

FAST, FRIENDLY, FANTASTIC SERVICE!!!

Tank has persistent vomiting that required a trip to the vets where xrays were done and fluids given. There were no signs of a foreign body but he did not improve and ended up back at the vets for iv fluids. This turned him around 100%. I faxed his claim/invoice and within a few hours had received an email that it was being processed and a few hours later received my explanation of benefits showing the costs covered by my plan. I have never dealt with a more efficient, prompt company. I wish health care companies were as reliable as Healthy Paws. I work for a medical facility and am very familiar with insurances and had great knowledge of insurance plans. This is what enabled me to choose Healthy Paws and I must say I do not regret it one bit!

Caring team, easy process and great service

I switched insurance to Embrace after reading many customer reviews and product comparison articles online. I was happy with my initial insurance, but I wanted something that made me feel at ease when my dog is older (she will be 4 in the new year). The claims process is extremely easy, but what I really love is the follow up. I always receive an email providing the explanation of the claim. I really love that every customer representative I have emailed or spoken to are animal lovers. I like knowing that the people who I have to deal with when I file a claim, understand what I am going through as a customer and pet owner. My beloved dog just had her nail ripped off from a crazy doggie daycare session that took almost 1 month to health. Not only did the claims department process it quickly, but the follow up was great as usual. We rarely have health issues with Maxah, but when we do (and even if it's during the annual check ups), it is comforting to know we are in good hands from a financial/insurance perspective.

Very Glad We Had the Insurance

We adopted our 6 yr old Bichon Frise from a Rescue Group and he was AKC registered. When I transferred the certificate over, I received a 30 day trial for pet insurance and took it. I renewed it at the end and very glad I did. Three months later while running in the yard, Clark yelped. I thought he had pulled a muscle. He was very quiet the rest of the day and by the middle of the night woke me up panting. When I took him to get some water, I put him on the ground and he could not get up and walk. I brought him directly to the emergency vet where it was diagnosed that he ruptured a disk in his back and had to have an emergency Hemilaminectomy. It took 2 1/2 weeks before he could walk. I wrote up the claim and sent it in and was very relieved that most of the bill was covered. Unfortunately, three years later it happened again, this time it was two disks. And once again, PetPartners came through. We love this little guy to bits and happy that we could help him through this.
