Awesome!

My 6 year old Maltese went to the doctor for an examination and wound up having emergency surgery simply due to her nerves! It was so unexpected and scary because she was unable to breathe. The hospital fixed her up, ran some tests and got her back to health. I submitted my claim to Healthy Paws. I was so impressed with the speed, proficiency and empathy that was shown in the handling of my claim. Not only was "Buttons" fully covered for her problem, but the staff followed up regularly inquiring about her health and sending her hugs. I have spoken to other insured pet owners who have never had such a positive experience as I have had with Healthy Paws. I have my 2 dogs covered by them and would recommend them to anyone!

Very Happy

This was my first claim for my first dog. I researched a lot of pet insurances before settling on this one. I was very happy with the process and my refund. Thank you and I've referred a friend to you.

Worth It

I was somewhat skeptical about whether pet health insurance was "worth it," especially for 2 young, relatively healthy cats. However, when one developed a serious breathing problem, the costs of testing and medication quickly added up. I was nervous that I would have to fight to get the costs covered, but ASPCA Insurance covered a large portion of my costs. The process was quick, easy, and everyone I talked to was very helpful. It is so nice to know that I do not need to compromise on my cats' heath care because of concerns over the costs of procedures.

Would definitely recommend Healthy Paws

The best advice I can give to any pet parent is to get pet insurance on your dog/cat as soon as you adopt them. I waited to get insurance until my dog Rocky was 8 and our dog Rilo was 2. About 10 months after I had the insurance the vet found a mast cell tumor (cancer) on our dog Rocky's leg. Long story short the total cost for everything was nearly $4,000 but I opted for the 90% coverage so it was mostly taken care of by Healthy Paws. The good news is the removed all of the cancer, no signs of spreading and Rocky is in the clear. It's such a huge relief to know that we don't have to worry about medical emergencies or illnesses for our 2 dogs. I typically receive a check within 5 days of filing the claim via Email. That's incredibly quick. I researched pet insurance for months before I finally decided on Healthy Paws. I'd definitely recommend them.

Embrace has been great!

Our rescue dog developed weakness in her hind end and began turning her knuckles over when walking. An MRI revealed she had lumbosacral disease. Her symptoms were caused by compressed nerve roots in her spine causing a tremendous amount of pain. Embrace was quick to approve the precertification for an MRI. Surgery was required to relieve the compression. Embrace sent us their portion of the reimbursement very quickly. If we did not have Embrace we could not have provided the care our dog so desperately needed to relieve her pain. I also can't say enough about the customer service. The Embrace staff is always very friendly and ready to help.

Paid thousands $$$ in claims!

So far I've been nothing but satified with Pets Best! The process of filing a claim is simple and whenever I call the staff is very helpful! We adopted Wilbur almost two years ago from Angel City Pit Bulls. We want him to live a long happy and healthy life. Having Pets Best Ins gives us the peace of mind of being able to provide him with the best medical care coverage! The help we've received on our vet bills has been outstanding!

ACL Surgery for 12 year old dog

We switched vets in the fall and our new Vet recommended a 30 day trial with Trupanion after the 30 days I thought I would keep it for awhile longer. I'm glad I did…our 12 year old West Highland Terrier tore his ACL about a month after we extended the trail. We had some initial issues because they, Trupanion, did not have his complete medical records from 4 other Vets and that was a little scary because we new that this was a new issue and not an existing issue and were being told that they couldn't let us know if it was covered until the records were reviewed. My recommendation is to get ALL your records to them when you sign up and update as you go along…then if an issue comes about they will have all of your pets records on file and should be able to answer ALL questions when you submit the claim ALSO look at getting PRE-APPROVED…that would have been a huge help. We had about 3 to 4 days before the surgery and had we started the pre-approval the scariness would not have been there. Would I recommend this insurance...YES!!! We have never had pet insurance BUT with having 4 dogs at various ages I believe we will be continuing our policies with Trupanion for years to come.
