Exceptional,
There aren’t enough characters in the human language to write out how absolutely amazing Trupanion has been to me and for my beloved soul dog Trout Marie. Till the very last day Trupanion gave me peace of mind that whatever I wanted and needed to do for my pet was covered. Customer service representatives that genuinely care, I wasn’t just a customer I was a friend and my dog was loved. When I called crying panicking into the phone the gentleman I spoke too not only reassured me my policy was up to date and Trout could get care but followed up with me an hour later to check on Trout Marie and myself. I can’t thank Him enough for his kind compassionate words that day. To the woman who took my phone call the day after Trout Marie had passed and let me cry on the phone before I could get the words out….thank you. There is no other company I would chose to care for my pets and as a veterinary technician there will never be another company I recommend to my clients. Thank You for everything Trupanion 🩷

I have been with Trupanion for 9 years…
I have been with Trupanion for 9 years for 3 English Bulldogs. Last year appears they have gone automated for approval - and it is a nightmare!! I had to call 3 times b/c denied 3 times for meds that have been covered and deductible of $1000 met for many years!! I was told it is the automated system making the mistake. Therefore, we will remove you from the auatomated approval system. However, they did not remove b/c some problem AGAIN when I submitted second invoice for a dif med - denied when deductible met and have been reimbursing me for years for this med. Constantly on the PHONE with inept employees. They are too lazy to look at past history and SEE the meds have been covered for YEARS and deductible MET!! Turpanion has failed at customer service for past two years and I do not see it changing. Ironically, first sentence on denial email stated "YOU have met your $1000 deductible" then the invoice was denied stating NOT met deductible! IDIOTS!!! Very dissatisfied customer! Use TRUPANION if you want to stay on phone constantly to get approved for their ineptness and you have lots of TIME to waste.

I was a former client before I moved to…
I was a former client before I moved to Italy in December 2019. I returned one week ago tomorrow (26 February 2025) and have enrolled Leroy, my 3.5 year old male English bulldog, who I brought with me from Italy. The enrollment has gone smoothly. There might be some language problems with the documents but he does have his international passport. All has gone well so far.

The person I talked to on day one, I also talked to a week later. I liked that!
It was easy, and Terry was so nice. He has a comforting voice. No one wants to buy insurance. It is an added expense, but more expensive it you don't have it. Terry did not pressure me into what deductible to buy. He sent me an email showing the price scale, and I took a week to decide which plan I felt would work for us going forward. So glad I was able to start the conversation with him, and end it with him, instead of having to re-explain things to a second person. This is a great benefit!

Healthy Paws is Wonderful
Healthy Paws is a wonderful service. Very prompt with claims. The insurance coverage is fair and the policies are clear. I enrolled my dog when he was a puppy, and he came down with an autoimmune disease when we he was one years old. I could not have given him the care he needs without Healthy Paws.
