Excellent service
I received a one month free Trupanion policy from my vet. 2 weeks later my 6month old pup got diarrhea that he couldn't shake. He was getting dehydrated and I couldn't get enough water into him so I took him to the vet. He had to stay overnight and was ultimately diagnosed with a parasite that requires some pricey meds. Trupanion covered $1900 of the $2500 bill, I was impressed as I was expecting that a "free" trial would have me on the short end of the stick. The vet had put through a pre-authorization with the ins. co so I was aware that they would cover it which was reassuring as well.

Healthy Paws is the best insurance (not just pet insurance) company I have ever worked with. Every time I take my dog to the vet, they pay exactly what they said they would pay, and they do it quickly. But that is not why they are the best. Any time Luna has an issue, they write an email and ask how she's doing. They genuinely (and I cannot stress that enough) care about her well being and take pride in being able to help. The peace of mind that it brings when something goes wrong is priceless. I know that I not only can I afford her care, but I won't have to wait long for reimbursement. But having a pet insurance where they really care about my dog and all animals, and that my money is going to help other pets in need means that I will never look anywhere else for pet insurance. Ever.

Trupanion cares!
Our 7 month old Min Pin puppy broke her left front leg while playing which required an expensive surgery to set her leg with a screw and pin. Trupanion responded quickly with a pre approval and the claim payment shortly after the final claim amount was submitted. I was very pleasantly surprised to receive a phone call from Trupanion asking how our puppy was doing and if we had any questions regarding our claim.

Never Using Trupanion Again
When I called about my emergency for my dog, I had a very rude customer service representative. Not only that, I was misinformed when I got the policy. It's not really 90% coverage because medical fees are not covered. So, in actuality, I get about 50 percent coverage for something I'm pay 0 deductible. And my claim took forever. Never again.

When You Least Expect It...
I've searched all pet insurance carriers and ASPCA still came out on top for the value combined with coverage. Our 8 y/o miniature schnauzer became extremely ill with gastrointestinal symptoms and had to spend a night in the hospital. Claim reimbursement was pretty quick at just under a month.

Great coverage, awesome customer service.
I was thrilled to find Embrace, a company that not only offered affordable rates but also covered several circumstances that were not covered by other insurances I looked into. We've had a policy for a few years now and I would never be without it again. We had several health problems come up suddenly and Embrace has covered everything and has reimbursed us thousands so far. When your pet gets sick suddenly, the last thing you want to have to worry about is how you're going to pay for it. While you do have to wait for a reimbursement, it offers peace of mind knowing you can rack up a credit card bill because the money will be back in your account in a few weeks. Pet insurance was one of the best decisions I've ever made for my dog and I feel Embrace is the best company out there.

The process was really simple and fast. All I had to do was fill out the required fields on the claim form and fax this over with the vet. bill and in about 1 week I received a refund of $156.00 back into my account. I was charged $49.00 for the doctor exam + $103.00 for the senior wellness profile I + $4.00 for the medical waste disposal which totals out to $156.00 (I received the full refund) and that's awesome!
