The best decision ever!
I cannot thank enough our vet for guiding us to have pet insurance for our dog, an Australian labradoodle, almost five years ago. And I cannot be so satisfied with Trupanion: their customer service is always there with an answer, their response to claims is fast and accurate, and they are fair and listen to us. Our dog has idiophatic epilepsy, and since it was diagnose and along all the scares, Trupanion has been there for us. I ALWAYS recommend a pet owner to have insurance, is the best decision we made, to know she can have the best care possible is priceless.

Fast and Friendly
When our Husky Miah cut her cheek under her eye on a piece of chain link fencing we immediately took her to the emergency hospital for stitches. The visit took place late in the evening on a Wednesday, the vet submitted the paperwork to Trupanion that night and i was contacted on Friday to let me know the claim was already being processed. After a slight delay due to Miah's medical history not being transferred from our previous vet we received our reimbursement within 2 weeks of the incident. Everyone was friendly and very helpful in processing this claim.

Our 10 month old lab puppy had a limp. We had it x-rayed and it turned out to be a big piece of cartilage in his shoulder. He had to have surgery to fix it. Trupanion covered everything they said they would cover and more than promptly than expected paid our claim.

When I called for information I actually spoke to a live human and got my questions answered. I was notified that my claim was received and when the payment was on the way. Payment was prompt without any hassle. Very satisfied.
