This company is the worst trying to cancel pet insurance. I have been badgered and told untruths as to the refund of my insurance premium. They take the auto debit from my account every month, but when I want to cancel I was badgered and harrassed into being scared and my dogs were very unsafe not being insured. When I ultimately decided to cancel, I was forwarded an email to state that my cancellation would be effective a month from now. I immediately contacted Trupanion and was given such a run around and then finally told my check would be run and sent in the mail the next day (from Wednesday conversation to Thursday refund mailing). I called Friday and was told Oh gee, this is a strange one, it does not look like it has gone out yet. What is so strange about this one? Well it needs final approval. Excuse me, final approval? My money, my refund. Additionally, they have the capacity to debit your money in a minute but not refund the same way. Strange, after speaking with several banking institutions, if you have the capacity to debit, you have capaciaty to refund the same way, especially in this electronic date. I was told they don't have that. I find it strange that a larger company not have capacity to refund electronically but can receive payments electronically. Several friends who had pet insurance had the same problems with their respective companies they had for their pets. They refuse to refund your money or delay it so you will either forget or decide to ke

My puppy is 8 months old, she is an Affenpinscher, and weighs 3.4 lbs. On New Years Eve she jumped off the couch and broke her left front leg. I rushed her to her regular vet, and he recommended that I rush her to see an orthopedic vet. I did so, and she had surgery that night. Today 24 days after the accident, Wren is healing nicely, running after her brothers, but no more jumping off the couch, and I received my reimbursement from Trupanion late last week.

The process was easy and Trupanion did a great job communicating that they received the information and where they were in the process. I needed to send more information and they were very precise in what they needed and gave me a person to contact as well as an option to send the information via email which was helpful with my busy schedule.

Have never had a problem with any of the claims that i have needed to submit. From pancreatitis to dental surgery to hot spots, Trupanion has processed claims with no major issues. Been very lucky to have this policy.

I usually hate dealing with insurance companies over insurance claims but with pet insurance I have to admit it fast fast and simple. just sent the invoice and i let the work it with the vet clinic avoiding bureaucracy process and dealing with unknown specifics we don't know.

Yes please invest in your pet on getting your pet insured by the ASPCA. They are very helpful to me with my English Cocker Spaniel whom is diagnosed with Lymphoma. It is worth it believe me the cost of Veterinarians today is over the budget. ASPCA insurance helps immensely.

About 7 years ago my little Yorkie was taken to the Small Animal Clinic at a local University. He was in ICU about 5 days and the bill was $1500.00. While in the waiting room I was viewing the pets health brochure from ASPCA. I invested in the health plan and it has been the best thing I have done. Buddy has suffered from skin conditions to pancreatitis. I recommend pet insurance to anyone who has acquired a new pet.
