very quick processing
i was very impressed with how quickly my claim was processed. Trupanion recieved my claim and i received an email the same day stating the amount that was being mailed to me. I was very hesitatant on pet insurance but now I will reccommend Trupanion to anyone i know that is getting a pet. They also make the form very easy as you just print it offline and all your informatiin is there you just sign and take to your vet. Thank you Trupanion for making this horrible experience into a more pleasant one.

Quick response time and payout.
My pug was 11-months-old and needed stenotic nares repaired, as well as, elongated palate repair during his neutering. Because the policy was in effect -before- any diagnosis of stenotic nares or elongated palate, Healthy Paws covered all of the surgery expenses and medication. Since they don't cover general vet fees or neutering, I only paid for that and my deductible. Huge financial burden lifted thanks to Healthy Paws Pet Insurance.

River my Chesapeake * years old has two conditions:Condition 1. Cranial cruciate ligament tear (Cruciate Rupture (ACL, CCL) Condition 2. Atopic Dermatitis. We had Trupanion since River was 3 years old and I love there fast payments for claims and customer service. I would highly recommend them .

A++ for Healthy Paws!
Someone recommended we get pet insurance three years ago when we got our dog Hurley. My husband and I never knew there was such a thing. After doing much research, we decided Healthy Paws was the way to go and have never regretted the decision. I’m sure Hurley is no stranger to the Healthy Paws family due to the number of claims we’ve submitted over the years. Their coverage and reimbursement (90%) is very straight forward on their website and we’ve never had a single issue once we’ve submitted a claim. It usually takes less than a week for everything to be completely processed. The Healthy Paws family also always checks up on Hurley just to make sure he’s doing ok from time to time. Here’s just an example just how awesome their service is… "Hi Franke, We were wondering how Hurley is recovering from his major leg surgery? We’re sorry to hear he had to go through that and send wishes for a quick recovery! Please send a quick email letting us know how he’s feeling and give him a great big hug from us tonight! Sincerely, Tim Claws & Paws Protector” If you’re in the market for pet insurance, you won’t go wrong with Healthy Paws.

Fast, easy, uncomplicated
My claim for my pets hospitalization was processed within a day of my submission. I discovered that initial emergency examinations were not covered so that was a bit of a surprise, but overall I am extremely happy with the insurance this company has provided.

Superb company!
My Golden Retriever suddenly became lame on his right rear leg on New Year's Eve (figures it would be a holiday). I brought him to the vet on Jan 2nd thinking he had broken a toe, but it turned out he had a rapidly spreading infection that had already infiltrated the bone. He had an x-ray, antibiotic injection, blood tests, and was sent home with antibiotics & several supplements to help clear the infection and support his immune system.The vet's office faxed the claim to Trupanion that afternoon, and that same evening I received an email from Trupanion saying they would send the money to my bank account within a few days. Same day service! They covered 90% of everything (less the deductible & physical exam)- they even covered the supplements that the vet sent him home with. This company is phenomenal! I have a dog business & routinely talk to my clients about their pet health insurance & it is clear that Trupanion is the best, hands down. After hearing of my past experience with Trupanion, quite a number of clients have signed on or switched over from other pet insurance companies. I am so happy to have this health insurance for my dog! I only wish my own health insurance company was as good. Thank you Trupanion!
