Excellent Coverage & Response
Before deciding on pet insurance, I spent several months reviewing various companies for both our own family as well as two neighbors. Each of us chose a different company; my family chose Trupanion. Now, five years later, I can say with confidence that we made the right choice. We love Trupanion -- they have been so helpful and wonderful to us. When we've had questions, we can reach a real person (incredible) and get fast, accurate answers; and never a problem with payment. They are, truly, one of the best companies we've ever dealt with, under any circumstances, for any thing, be it product or services.

This insurance gave me peace of mind.
My 13 year old Great Pyrenees suddenly got sick and it was comforting to know that I could afford whatever tests and treatment she needed because of the ASPCA insurance. Unfortunately, she had to be put to sleep and I was surprised to learn that, in addition to the coverage of her vet bills, ASPCA also covers costs of euthanasia. I also appreciated the compassion and kindness of the people from ASPCA I spoke to after her death.

They really care about animals
I have 3 cats and I've always had ASPCA health insurance for them and I couldn't be happier. My claims have all been paid very quickly and they've always been very helpful whenever I've had questions. They even called to check on my cat when she was recently diagnosed with cancer. The diagnosis is devastating, but at least I didn't have to pay for all the tests, which are extremely expensive. I got this insurance specifically for this type of catastrophic illness and I'm so glad I chose ASPCA. I recommend them to all my friends.

Life Saver!
My Italian Greyhound, Joey, has had some bad luck with his health since we got him. I'm so thankful that a friend of mine guided me to a review website for pet insurance where I saw fantastic reviews for Healthy Paws and decided to sign Joey up. It is definitely worth the $30 a month. Not only do I get a great reimbursement for his bills, but I always received an email asking how Joey is and that the company hopes he gets better soon. Customer service is wonderful.

We couldn't do it with out Embrace!
We have four dogs and have been dealing with long-term unemployment and underemployment for years. Embrace has allowed us to remove the financial concerns and simply provide top-level veterinary care for our companions. I can't say enough about this company - the service, attention, communication and reimbursement are all fantastic whether the claim is for $50 or $3,000. I wish my human medical insurance could be this efficient!

What a surprise!
When we adopted our new lab Grady last Feb. and decided this time we would look into pet insurance. Our last two labs lived to be 13 & 15 years old, so it was a no brainer. Little did we know that Grady would need emergency surgery last month. He had eaten the cloth sections of a dog toy which had gotten stuck in his stomach, the strings from the toy had entered his intestines and twisted them. I got him to the vet just in time. Embrace was contacted that day and in less than two weeks, today actually, I deposited a check that covered more than half of the bill. I never give my dogs those type of toys but it was a present from a relative. I never thought we'd need insurance but boy are we lucky. Grady is fine and we feel everyone should know how great this company has been.

THIS is THE ONE
My Standard Poodle George suddenly became very ill. He started throwing up and in two days also developed diarrhea. I attributed the regurgitation vigorous playing to the heat of Texas summer that is coming on and started feeding him later in the day and earlier in the morning. Once the pooping issues started I knew something more was going on. After pumpkin as a home remedy did not affect either symptom I made a late night trip to the critical care unit of our local vet specialty hospital. George was admitted immediately and was put on IV fluids. Blood was drawn, urine was taken and a fecal analysis was ordered. It was the holiday weekend (of course!) so the lab results came in slowly. The possibility of an obstruction was considered since things were coming out both ends... they ordered x-rays of his chest and his belly, not much was seen so an ultrasound was ordered. Nothing was there except for lots of fluid in his stomach. (thank God he did not need surgery!) FINALLY after a few days in the hospital the fecal came back. It was Giardia!! Now we knew what to do! George was treated with the appropriate medications and after a couple more days of fluids and IV medication he was released to come home. He is still on medication to get him well (2 weeks) and is feeling much better. I can not describe the feeling I had when the staff of the hospital presented me with his estimated bill that first night. It was bad enough that he was so ill- but now the stress of a hu
