Healthy Paws makes the tough decisions easier.
Daisy was diagnosed last November with soft tissue sarcoma and Healthy Paws was there every step of the way. They quickly processed her claims so they we could continue to treat her, knowing the expenses were covered. They also emailed to check in on her, which meant a lot. Daisy's cancer has returned more aggressive this year and again Healthy Paws has been there helping to make the tough decisions a little easier. I am so glad I chose Healthy Paws. The customer service is top notch.

Pet Insurance... So glad I got it!
This review is for overall care for my dog. The total amount is for the amount accured over the past year... At the beginning of 2014 I decided to get pet insurance for two of my 3 dogs. The third dog has hip issues, and I didn't think having insurance would help her... I am going to add her in when I renew. I believed I was never going to need the insurance. Boy, was I WRONG! In July, Eve, my youngest St. Bernard started vomiting blood! She's had multiple meds, multiple Dr's visits, and tests (including an EGD, with a biopsy). The Dr. says she has IBD, and thank God... no cancer cells were found. The Dr. is hopeful some new meds might help her feel a lot better. My poor baby went from 100 pounds, down to 88 pounds. There is nothing more pathetic than a skinny St. Bernard. She's my forever puppy. She's my helper. When she felt better, and I couldn't get up from the floor, she would come over and stand sideways allowing me to use her hips, and shoulder as leverage to stand up. How could I not help her after she helped me? Embrace has made treating her not such a financial burden. The money I put into the insurance was the best money I could have spent. Knowing I was able to treat her... has put me at ease. Thank you, Embrace! I am so glad I chose you!!!

Love this company!
My beloved labrador retriever is the third "child" in our family. At 6, she was in pain every day from bilateral rear ligament tears. We were able to afford the surgery because of this insurance company. We were reimbursed as promised with no arguments or questioning. I would recommend Embrace to anyone who owns a pet.

Our dog Nika seems to be accident prone...nothing happens to our other two dogs but Nika is well known to ASPCA by now. The agents call to check on her progress and to let us know when her claims are processed. We really appreciate the cistomer care we've received.

Our 2 dogs (Great Dane and Rott/Shepherd mix) have been covered by Embrace for years. We have never had to think twice about getting them the care they need. Best Insurance Company Ever!!
Not too long ago my 2 year old Vizsla, Prince, got very ill and had necrotizing pancreatitis. One day he was fine and the next he was rushed to the animal emergency room. We were told he might not make it! As devastated as we were, we told the doctors to do whatever they needed to do to help him regardless of the cost. The reason we were so comfortable with saying this is because we knew Healthy Paws pet insurance would cover the emergency expenses regardless of the limit. Prince was in the hospital for 4 days and Healthy Paws did not question one item on the bill. Within 5 days of his release I had a reimbursement check waiting in my mailbox. Thank you HEALTHY PAWS for being there in the time of need!

COULD NOT BE MORE PLEASED
My 1 yo Pitbull pup decided, unbeknown to us, that eating underwear was the "cool thing to do"....that is until he woke up unable to keep food down. We took him to the ER, where we discovered his love of underwear after he vomited up a pair (oh buddy)....they took Xrays and did an ultrasound and determined he had a blockage. He had emergency surgery that night (enterotomy). We went from vomiting in the a.m. to surgery in the p.m. It was a sad state of affairs for us and we felt SO bad for him. BUT he recovered beautifully and Trupanion was SOOO helpful. They started working on his claim right away and kept me very informed on where the claim process was with daily emails. I even called one night, very late, and was able to talk to someone when I had questions. They are open 24 hours a day! How sweet is that?! 1 week post surgery, I had a check in my hand for 90% of my sweet boy's surgery cost. This could not be better timing as I didn't have an extra $2500 sitting around before Christmas. Needless to say, we now know that our Pitty is an under garment eater and we have baby gates up and all laundry is put in appropriate places....which has resulted in 2 young boys keeping their rooms clean! Extra bonus.

The Best
I have had Embrace for over two years. This Pet Insurance is by far the best as I have done comparative shopping and talked with others. I always recommend them to friends, my vet, and mention it as well to his pet owners. They are fair in their pricing, professional in their manner, the claim is reviewed fairly, and payment for the claim is fast and hassle free. I am so glad that my German Shepherd Carmen has such great Pet Insurance.

Love Embrace and would recommend
I like everything about Embrace except one thing, choose a plan you will stick with forever, because if you don't and you want to change the % coverage or $ deductible, the entire plan you have would consider existing conditions if you had claimed anything. Otherwise, everything is great. Service is prompt, I email all my claims via email and it's direct deposited into my bank account within a week. They review claims in about 5 business days.
