disappointed

I took my dog to the vet for pain and sick, it was found that he had crystals in his bladder. Trupanion decided to not pay part of the claim because they thought my dog had pancreatitis which he did not we had them on food to make sure he didn't get a reoccurrence of it but they picked that out just to be able to discount part of the claim. I have my debt writing them another letter claiming the dog has not had pancreatitis since January 2013. We were just being extra careful with the food to make sure we didn't cause it to come back. My bed put my dog on a completely other food because of the crystals in his bladder. I had a lot of extra work for me with calling the insurance company and calling my vet and bothering my vet to try and get this straightened out very disappointing

VPI helped gives us more time with our boy!

I've been so happy with VPI since I've enrolled 3 years ago. Their claims process is easy and you can track the progress online and their reimbursement is more than fair. My Rottweiler was recently diagnosed with osteosarcoma and had to have a leg amputated. They paid for the entire surgery! I couldnt believe it! He's been accident prone his whole life so this isn't our first claim and they've always been great. I work at a large pet retailer and tell people almost every day to sign up with VPI. I've heard so many disappointing stories about other insurers but I assure you they're the real deal and will be there when you need them most!

Trixie's back surgery

My dachshund Trixie got to where she couldn't walk and we had to carry her to the emergency vet which was over $500.00 and VPI paid all of the bill minus my co-pay of $50.00! She ended up having to be hospitalized for almost a week and VPI paid the $200.00 bill. Unfortunately she ended up having to have back surgery at a cost of $3500.00 which VPI paid minus my $100.00 deductible! Thank God for my VPI insurance. Trixie is doing well and we didn't lose everything to get her that way! The only bad thing for me was having to pay upfront and wait to receive my payment from VPI!

We are so thankful we found Healthy Paws

We purchased other insurance for our new puppy after internet search before we discovered Healthy Paws and switched our coverage within the first year and are so glad we did. I never wanted the cost of a procedure to be a factor in making hard choices about care in an emergency or illness. Our golden doodle has received the best of care at MSPCA Angell Memorial and recently had a Mast cell tumor that was infringing on his eye removed. I repeatedly am amazed at how caring and quickly claims are processed. I received reimbursement within 3 days of submission of the latest claim.

WOW! Talk about FAST!

This was my first claim after having insurance for 3 years. I am blown away with how fast the process was. I uploaded the claim paperwork and within a DAY I received an email with what amount I was getting and it was being deposited to my bank account the next day. My only confusion is the co-pay for each item.

VPI makes it easy

Glad a friend recommended VPI. Great customer service from assisting in selecting the right plan to processing claims in a timely manner for reimbursement. The low monthly plan cost is well worth it when it comes to caring for our dog.

The Best Pet Insurance Company In The Industry!

4 1/2 years ago I was lucky enough to meet my St. Bernard puppy Gus! I researched everyone in the pet insurance industry and one name kept coming up, Healthy Paws Pet Insurance. I was skeptical to think that anyone could be this great. Every review was right. Each and every time I ever had to submit a claim, it was processed immediately and never with question. About a month ago I received the news that no one wants to hear. Gus was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma. It has been a month of X-Rays, doctor visits, lab work, oncology visits and pain management. Without the support of Healthy Paws, Gus could not receive the proper care that he needs and deserved. I love Healthy Paws! You are helping both Gus and I to make it through a very difficult and challenging time.

Such a good decision

Our 2 YO Lab ate a sock (not his first time; probably not his last time) that became an obstruction (hopefully the last time!). He needed emergency abdominal surgery requiring an overnight stay at the clinic. He seemed well on his way to recovery, but a few days later his condition worsened to the point where he required another emergency overnight stay with the vet for IV fluids and monitoring. He eventually bounced back and is 100% fine. Embrace accepted all claims immediately and processed 3 out of 4 of them within a few days. The last claim took longer because they needed more information from the vet, but it too was acceepted at the full benefit. We are so thankful to the vet for taking care of our dog and to Embrace for offering this affordable service to assist with unexpected emergency costs.
