Smooth process and I got 90% Refund
My Olde English Bulldogge, Nabuco, started limping for no apparent reason. I took him to a specialty hospital (without a referral) where they x-rayed his front legs. The doctor found nothing was wrong with him and had a radiologist check out the x-rays and found nothing either. I thought my claim would be denied because according to 2 vets, nothing was wrong with Nabuco. But I still emailed my claim (only a claim form, Nabuco's record, invoice & receipt). In less than 10 days my claim was approved!!! The bill w/o the exam fee was $362 and Trupanion reimbursed $325.80!!!

Rory was being sick and having problems with his bowel movements, after numerous x-rays they did an exploritary surgery, which found a possible tumour. my claim from my regular vet took just 3 days and the check arrived within the week. A second vet that was used for overnight care have yet submit their part but im sure everything will go just as smoothly when they do. Turns out it wasnt a tumour it was acute pancreitus and was cleared with anitbiotics such a relief.

Overall very pleased
I'm combining a few claim submissions into one review. Overall, I am very pleased with Embrace. My dog had post operative complications from her spay and was very critical when I brought her to the ER. She had to spend the weekend at the ER and we now dub her surgery as the most expensive spay in history. She has also had a couple minor issues with a tweaked back and a skin infection. All claims were addressed promptly with an acknowledgement e mail as well as inquiry to how our little princess is doing makes me feel like more than just a number.
