Truly cares about our four-legged kids.
When we got our mini-Aussie, he came with a month of dog insurance from another pet insurance company. At the end of that month we decided to switch to Healthy Paws based on feedback from our Vet and the fact that they were a local company. We also had a five-year old Corgi at the time and decided to get insurance for her as well. I was surprised at how inexpensive her premium was for a dog that old. About five months after starting her insurance, after several extensive tests and treatments, she was diagnosed with polymiocitis. Over the next year and a half, we incurred an incredible amount of medical bills, bills Healthy Paws didn’t question or hesitate to cover. They never once questioned a medical charge and we received the reimbursement checks for each visit in less than a week. When she passed away, before we even had a chance to contact them to stop the premiums, we got an email offering their condolences and letting us know they had terminated her premium payments. Shortly thereafter we received a sympathy card in the mail signed by their entire staff. We were deeply touched by their thoughtfulness and genuine caring. I cannot imagine a human health insurance company being so responsive and prompt. Not only would I recommend Healthy Paws if someone were to ask me, I will suggest any new pet owner to seriously consider pet insurance and would direct them to Healthy Paws.

Excellent Insurance Provider
Our 3 year old Rottweiler had to have TPLO surgery on both sides. I faxed the papers to them and they had a couple of questions as this was our first claim but was issued a check in under 2 weeks the second side was done papers faxed and the check was issued the next day. Awesome service.

Excellent Pet Insurance with no gimmicks
Healthy Paws Pet Insurance exceeded my expectations. I submitted a claim and within 1 week they approved and sent me a check. I did a lot of research and there are a few good insurers, however this one stood out for its Annual Deductible, no claim caps and no lifetime limits. Another leading insurer has a Per Condition deductible, which doesn't measure up in my opinion. The customer service was excellent, responsive and very friendly. They followed up with an inquiry on how our pet was doing for that personal touch. This is the way an Insurance Company should operate! Highly Recommend!

trupanion was great. the vet submitted the claim form for us within 2 weeks we had 90% of the money we paid returned to us. Detailed claim form copies were sent via email within 1 week and was approved and we received the check within another 7 days. I had a question about a claim and the gal I spoke to on the phone was courtesy and helpful.

Healthy Paws Does it Again!
Out of nowhere our cat was drooling profusely. After a few hours I decided to take him into urgent care. There wasn't any inclination as to what was going on upon our initial exam and the doctor wanted to keep the kitty overnight. Once again, during the estimate for cost consultation, it was so soothing to not have to worry about the vet's offer; I could just focus on making the decision of what was right for my cat to get him the care that he needs. After two nights in the urgent care with a multitude of blood tests, x-rays, lots of sedation, and an exploratory scope, we found that kitty had eaten some thick sawgrass that had cut on the way down and was stuck in his belly, slowly digesting. The doctors were able to remove the blades of grass and our cat was feeling better in no time. Once again the Healthy Paws team was great at helping me submit my claim and contact the vet office to make sure all of the correct paperwork had been filed. After our claim was submitted we received our refund check in about 8 days (including a holiday weekend). We were thankful that everything with our cat was alright and also that we didn't have to choose between cost and care. Healthy Paws, once again, gave us great peace of mind during a time when you only want to focus on the needs of your pets. We love our pets like family, Healthy Paws helps us to take care of them like family.

Healthy Paws to the Rescue!
Our one-year old puppy had just gotten neutered when we realized something was very wrong. He was being fairly unresponsive and we noticed his gums and tongue were white, which can be an indicator that oxygen is not reaching the area. We took him into the urgent care and found out he was hemorrhaging into his abdomen from his recent surgery. They took him overnight with IV and fluids and helped him while his blood reabsorbed. They gave us the quote for the potential cost of treatment and it was so nice to just say "whatever he needs" and not have to worry about choosing cost over care. He was home and healthy within a few days. We submitted our paperwork for the claim almost immediately (and it was so nice to be able to reach out to their customer service for friendly advice on how to correctly submit the paperwork!) and received our approved refund check 6 days after our claim was opened! It was such a pleasant surprise how easy and quick the whole process was. Without Healthy Paws, things may not have turned out as good for our pup and we are so thankful to be members of the Healthy Paws family. I recommend Healthy Paws to all of our friends and family. Our family might not have been the same without them.
