This insurance is the way to go

Having trupanion insurance saved me from spending over 500 dollars. My Pepper was very ill with diarrhea and she kept vomiting. I went to her vet that took care of her with care and love. They treated her as if it was their own puppy of their family. The West Olympia Animal Hospital called the trupanion and this insurance was able to cover 90 percent of the cost. Which I only had to pay $24.05 that the insurance was not going to cover. To not have to pay out of pocket $500 was a relief of joy and I was able to breath that baby Pepper was going to get the care she needed immediately . I believe if you can afford pet insurance join with this insurance.

overall happy with this insurance

I have had this insurance for my dog harper since he was a pup. at the time they had 3 levels, one for accident, 2 for accident & illness, and 3 accident, illness, and wellness I think. I wasn't sure on the details for 3, as I just wanted accident and illness. I have had to use this insurance for accidents and illness. 2 out of the 4 years I've had my dog. I think in general I am in the red, where the insurance has saved me much money when I figure premiums, deductible vs vet expenses. I am glad that I have it though, because my other dog who just had to go to the ER set me back 2200, and with him I had been saving money each month as a 'just in case'. Well I haven't saved that much... so it was tough. If I had insurance maybe it wouldn't have been that bad. The claim process is easy and the web form is simple to fill out. There can be a bit of a wait to get the results, but for dot fights, sickness (vomitting), and sickness (tick born), the level 2 insurance has helped.

Hassle Free Coverage; Compassionate Staff

My mini schnauzer was diagnosed with a malignant melanoma in May 2014. He had 2 surgeries and multiple vet visits following the last surgery to monitor his lungs, tummy and heart to ensure that the cancer was not affecting his breathing or swallowing. My vets were great by keeping the cost of follow-up visits low but Pets Best very quickly covered up to the limits of my insurance all claims in a prompt manner. Finally, I was most surprised to learn that since my baby died due to the illness, my insurance also covered the cost of his cremation. Definitely recommend Pets Best (my vet also said that Pets Best was one of the most professional pet insurance companies.

Fantastic

If Trupanion offered health insurance for people that was as easy to deal with as for pets, I would drop my current provider in an instant and switch to Trupanion.

Josie's lumpectomy

My Josie needed to have 2 lumps removed from her shoulder area, she previously had another one removed that turned out to be cancerous. The Vet removed the 2 new ones because of the previous history, the 2 new ones were benign. The first one never returned as she got "good margins " Josie is doing fantastic you would never know she is 11 I am grateful that I had pet insurance to help me cover the cost of her surgeries
