Trupanion is outstanding and unparalleled.
My dog had TPO surgery for hip dysplasia when he was a year old. He is five now, and has had continuous problems, due to complications from the surgery. Plus, he still has hip dysplasia. Trupanion has always taken care of our boy, and is keeping him walking. They paid 90% of his surgeries and still pay 90% of his ongoing physical therapy and acupuncture. Everyone I've spoken with has been compassionate, caring, and extremely helpful. I send everyone to them and would never go anywhere else. They are the absolute best company for pet insurance. Trupanion is an excellent company that will take care of your precious companion when you need it most. My story involves my 1 year and 1 month old Bernedoodle (Bernese Mountain Dog and Poodle Mix): I noticed Kona was acting strange when she returned from a stay with my mother while I was out of the state I brought Kona into Riverside Animal Hospital in NYC, and Dr. R took the utmost care of Kona. They ran important diagnnostic tests and made sure that Kona was comfortable and at ease. Through the extensive testing, Dr. R found that Kona had swallowed a large piece of red plastic from a ball she tore apart. Since the piece was not astronomically big, we were able to give Kona the proper medication allotted by the Doctor, and she passed the piece of plastic the next day. I am forever grateful that Trupanion was there for me and Kona while we needed to do extensive testing and diagnostics. Without Trupanion, I would not be able to provide Kona with the best care that can be offered. Thank you Trupanion.
