Great experience so far!
Petunia is our third dog, we had lost 2 9 months prior to getting her. We felt like our choice in veterinary care had something to do with the passing of our previous dogs. We wanted to have the opportunity to choose any vet but not have to should the cost of better care. Embrace has given us this choice and knowing that we can make decisions about Petunia's care without having to worry as much about the cost is of great comfort. Embrace has offered us an easy and awesome experience.

Our monthly plan is affordable and when it's really needed helps so very much. We have a giant furbaby, Great Dane, and at the age of 8 still acts like a puppy but sometimes we forget how old he is. When we had to rush him to the ER the bill was not small, but within days after his release we got our claim processed and more than 75% covered. We don't have much and this back up measure helps us care for our puppy as well as our finances.

The emergency hospital faxed a form late saturday night and by Monday I already had an email that the claim was processed. Truly can't ask for more than that.

Awesome company!
I've had my dog insured with Healthy Paws for over a year and I have NEVER been more proud to call myself a customer. They are fantastic with coverage, super fast with payouts, I always get to talk to a live person if I call them with a question (and in this day in age it's almost unheard of!), and best of all you really get the sense that they care about your animals just as much as they do! Best of all they have an APP for submitting claims. Things just got so much easier. I really can't recommend them enough - I have never had a problem. I love the fact and I can pick deductible and coverage level, I also love the fact that there's no limits (lifetime, yearly, or per incident), and it really gives me peace of mind to know that if something every truly horrible (and costly) was to happen with my dog, he would be covered and they would really care about how he was doing too!

As your pet goes old they dont reimburse
From all the review I am seeing as soon as your pet turns above of age 8, they stop reimbursing funds. I am a customer for last 4 years and now dog is 9 yr and they are not reimbursing as much they are supposed to and they do not want to upgrade the policy because your dog is old. They refused to upgrade only because my pet had cellulitis . Seriously, come on. I think it was my worst decision to join vpi.

Exceptional service on all levels
Intially, Buddy's vet thought that the mass in his abdomen was cancer, but it turned out to be a swollen spleen, which had to be immediately removed. So, there were actually (2) claims that ASPCA handled. When I spoke to the office, the rep easily pulled up my file, asked pertinent questions. After the vet clinic submitted the claim, I quickly received email confirmation and the response scheduled was adhered to What I especially appreciated was the kindness with which I was treated by everyone that I spoke with. And the calls that I received afterwards to check on Buddy.

Continued great coverage AND excellent service
Thanks again to Embraces fast and no hassle response. I just added our 4th pet to the policy. I recommend Embrace to anyone I met with pets. It's reasonable and the customer service is outstanding. Plus Laura seems like an A+++ employer and treats her employees like partners. I really like this company. Been with them for 5 plus years.
