Appology to Pets Best
I think Pets Best is the best insurance out there for your pets. They are the most reasonable and pay the most of any of the other insurers. They usually pay very quickly and direct deposit the payment. I have been very happy over the past 5 years with them as our insurance provider. They have saved us over $5,000 over those years.

Claims are quick, easy, and hassle-free
Our dog Bailey had some genetic leg issues manifest early in her life that resulted in multiple surgeries over the course of 9 months. Trupanion was great. The claims process was super easy and we received our reimbursement usually within a week. If there was going to be a delay (usually due to our vet), Trupanion would contact us and let us know what was going on, if there was something we could do, and when to expect reimbursement. They have been fantastic. When you are busy worrying about your dog it's great to not have to stress over the financials.

Pet's Best
So glad we decided to pick up insurance for our two JRTs. Pet's Best has been in our family for two months and I already had to make a claim. They took a little longer than their expected time frame but did notify/apologize in an email. Great customer service.

Very slow with the large payment
I filed my claim for a surgery on 8/21/2015 for a surgery from 8/17/15. It is now 9/9/2015 and the claim has not been paid yet. I keep getting excuses. I filed two more continuing follow up claims for the same surgery and they have been paid. These were filed on 8/31 & 9/8. The claim I need the money on was for $1700. The other 2 were for a total of $325. Not happy. I use to refer people here. I was very happy with the service and payment punctuality. I am no longer happy. My rates went way up and payment is taking a very long time for the large ones that matter. Maybe after I get the reimbursement for the first bill I will change my mind.
