I rescued a two month puppy. If you go on facebook you can see her picture. They denied her claim.The vet confirmed there was nothing in her prior records to do that. She just got the same medicine. Seriously a one year old rescue puppy . How could they do that.

Wish MY Health Insurer was this good...
I have to say that I have never had a bad experience since becoming a member of Healthy Paws. They process claims at lightning speed (within 24 hours usually) and get a reimbursement check out to us quickly. As far as the coverage goes we are very satisfied with what is covered. When we were searching for an insurance provider we compared Healthy Paws to the others and we were drawn to a couple of things:1. They do not have a pre-exisiting condition exclusion for any conditions that develops after coverage starts. Other companies will cover a condition, but when yearly renewal comes around, bang, pre-exisiting condition and no longer covered. 2. They also cover meds, no matter where you get them from. Strongly Recommended

best pet insurance
I have tried other pet insurance in the past and I just wasn't satisfied with them. I found Embrace and have been so happy That we did. We found an insurance that really does do what they advertise. I have had no problems with and of my claims. They answer all my questions when I call too. I have a Great Pyrenees and he gets a lot of different things but they have been great with all my claims. I'm happy to be a member of Embrace for my pet.

First Claim Submission
This is the first time I have had Pet Insurance so I didn't know what to expect. I submitted a claim for an office visit, x-rays and meds for my puppy after she started limping. The claim was handled professionally and quickly. The Embrace staff kept me advised by e-mail regularly on the status of the claim. When I submitted additional information for consideration, the claim was finalized within 24 hours! That's quicker than MY health insurance provider. Overall, an excellent experience! Thank you!!!

Basic Wellness Claim
I purchased this insurance to cover basic wellness needs and perhaps an occasional mishap. My first experience is turning out less advantageous than I eould have imagined. All the items on my receipt were for "wellness" however, I am only being reimbursed $159 out of the $186 I am due. What gives? Typical insurance companies will do anything to deny a claim.

My dog, Lucy, required extensive veterinarian care in May for an intestinal blockage. Lucy has a great vet, very skilled and also a great listener. In spite of this it took 4 days to diagnose the blockage because Lucy did not present with typical symptoms. On a Friday afternoon, close to closing time, the vet finally discovered a blockage in Lucy's intestine. She was transferred to an emergency hospital for surgery that night and received fantastic post surgery care until Saturday afternoon when she came home. I had 5 claims forms to submit, one for each day, Tuesday - Saturday's care. I submitted claims to Trupanion. Once again Trupanion's service was compassionate and quick. I had a few correspondances with Trupanion with questions I had and they were very caring throughtout the process. Payment was quick and covered 90% of all vet services claimed! I am very please I have Trupanion insurance for Lucy! It sure makes the requirement for good veterinary care a lot easier to provide. Thank you for your great service Trupanion.
