Trupanion is very professional and friendly.
Our dog was very sick with gastrointestinal problems. Trupanion paid their portion of the insurance claim in a prompt and professional manner. They were also very friendly during telephone calls I had with them.

Timely payment
I've been with Petsbest insurance for 8-9 years or so and have been satisfied with their service. Other than one claim where my dog ate something she wasn't suppose to, I would recommend their service. My advice would be for potential customers is to read and understand the policy. You don't want to get caught by surprise - in any insurance policy. One incident recently (day after Christmas) the policy saved my bacon. My dog suffered hemorrhagic gastroenteritis and her normal vet office was closed so had to take her to a 24/7 emergency hospital. After a two day stay, she was out of the danger zone but the bill was astronomical. But Petsbest paid out in two weeks.

Rip Off
I had my four dogs insured with ASPCA for going into the fourth year with out interruption, or one claim. In November I renewed all policies and paid around eighteen hundred in advance. Read my Yelp review. I brought my Westie in to my vet to be treated for a cyst. The bill ame to five hundred fifty dollars. ASPCA denied the claim siting an ambiguous language that the dog had a previous existing condition. Where I come from if the animal is insured for over three years how can it be considered a pre existing condition. They accepted my payments for three years. This company does this all the time. This is how they get out of paying out on claims. I have since stopped my payment on my credit card for the policies. Research and go with one that is reviewed in the ten best category.

Great Insurance, Great People!
I have had my dog Archie insured with Healthy Paws for over a year. Every time they have been both super fast at processing claims and their coverage has been outstanding. Early in January my dog fractured a disk in his spine and he had both his rear legs paralyzed so he had to get back surgery. It was such a relief to be able to tell the doctor to do whatever they needed to do to help my dog and have the peace of mind that Healthy Paws will come through and cover the expense, and they did! Within a few days of submitting the claim it was processed and the coverage was exactly as expected, no tricks or hidden fees. Right now my dog is having physical therapy and recovering from his surgery. The doctor is positive that he will be able to walk again so we couldn't be happier.

Prompt and excellent service
We have two Cavalier King Charles pups, both which are covered by Embrace. Our 4 year old was found to have high liver enzyme readings after a blood test. Exploratory surgery was accomplished which revealed liver disease, poor liver color and an enlarged pancreas. Embrace covered all costs in accordance with the policy and covered without question. I would highly recommend to anyone who has a loving pet to consider pet insurance with Embrace.

Exceptional
We never had pet insurance before and with all the animals that we have had, we were beginning to search for the right company. We then brought home our Stryder who was rescued by a very kind man from the Maricopa County Shelter's death row. That is a story in itself. Anyway, he came with insurance on him and we transferred to us as new owners. Then we decided to put our other dog Kya on, and then we got a new puppy (I have forgotten the work involved) name Zeus. He's a mini rottweiller and keeps us on our toes. Well apparently, we were not that great as he got a hold of a piece of tennis ball and, yes, he swallowed. This got logged in his small intestine which required emergency surgery. The bill was extensive and Healthy Paws covered 90% of it. The deductible is great and the monthly premium truly paid for itself with just this crisis. The staff are extremely pleasant and I don't dread having to call. When I do, I always tell them how much I appreciate their services and only wish I could get insured through them.

Prompt claim processing and refund
Am pleased to know that after a trip to the vet, I most likely will be getting a refund from ASPCA. Not the entire bill but something is better than nothing. Had a personal telephone call from ASPCA inquiring as to the health of my animals and how they are doing. This was very impressive.

Great customer service
My cat has been in and out of the vet's office the past few months with recurrent vomiting including a very scary episode where she aspirated some of the vomit and began choking. Figo has been great to work with--easy online claim submission, responsive customer service, and prompt reimbursement. They've even sent get well cards to my cat! This health issue came out of left field and I am so glad I bought pet insurance when I did. I highly recommend their service

Great policy if you don't mind a 33% reimbursement
Don't be fooled by the sales person who tells you that you claim will be covered in full minus the deductible. That is not always true. We paid all premiums when due and the policy was active when our dog got hit by a car. She needed and I paid for surgery and treatment totaling $5800. VPI paid back $1319. I requested reconsideration, and they paid an additional $605. That's about $1900 of a $5810 claim. That's not insurance. That's fraud and misrepresentation. Total bad faith. I am preparing to litigate. Don't make the same mistake. Find a better value.
