Wonderful!
My poor dog Sampson required major orthopedic surgery on his wrist. Not only was his surgery covered, but so was his medications and bandage changes too. Trupanion has made it so easy to get pre-approval for the surgery, and to submit claims and get my questions answered.

Caring customer service
I spent a lot of time researching pet health insurance, which everyone should do. Each insurance offers different plans which are not all equal. Make sure to read what is covered, what is not, what the deductible is, what percentage is reimbursed. Knowing your expectations and then finding the plan that matches is key. I felt this insurance provided the most comprehensive coverage that I wanted at the best price, and have not been disappointed. They are very quick to follow up with my claim, reimburse me, they check up on the well being of my dog afterwards, answer all my questions, and are available via phone or email. Completely happy.

Help when we needed it.
Our Husky dog came down with diabetes in Jan. 2013. So since then hospitaliztion over night to keep him alive. Various blood tests and perscriptions followed. Then as a result of his diabetes he developed catarcts in both eyes and went blind. Dr. Turner told of a clinic in Reno that could fix his eyesight. The operatioin was a success and he could see as he came out of the OR. So far Embrace has covered a large percentage of bills. Thank you Embrac and yuor great staff. So far this year you have come through for us covering $5,853. How wonderful is that? Rocco says "Thanks for giving me my sight back so I can do dog stuff again."

My Ember was unexpectedly diagnosed very early (4.5years) with a disease and I could not be happier that I had chosen to start her life off with this insurance. ASPCA has been honest, prompt and apparently offers the Continuing Care (which I am so glad I added) that is not offered by comparable insurance companies. I would never have been able to give her the amount of care that I have without the insurance. I am thrilled to say she is doing fantastic, but I know if the problem arises again, I will still have some help along the way.

Healthy Paws Is Amazing
My 6 month old puppy was acting strange and we took her to the Emergency clinic. It was neurological and they kept her overnight. She was treated for toxicity. This is our first pet and we were so sad and anxious. Unfortunately, you need insurance when something bad happens and you are an emotional mess. Fortunately, I contacted Healthy Paws about submitting a claim the next day. The process was so easy and they were so responsive! My puppy is doing much better and I am grateful that I invested in pet insurance with Healthy Paws. Kudos!! (Btw, I work for an auto insurer, so I know how insurance customers should be treated...)

Large Dog with Compromised Lived
We were terrified when our beloved dog, Pippin suddenly collapsed. It was clear that something was very very wrong. We immediately took her to the vet and found out that she had probably ingested something (but we will never really know) and was experiencing liver failure. This could have led to her death. The comfort of being able to tell our vets that Pippin had health insurance was huge and made a difference in her care. We had a perfect outcome. Our dog is well and it didn't break the bank. Who could ask for more?

Fantastic
Healthy Paws has been terrific. I had used a different pet insurance for other dogs without a good experience. Before choosing Healthy Paws I did some research and choose Healthy Paws, I am so glad I did. Our six month old puppy, Coco broke her leg and required surgery. Healthy Paws was very quick to process our claim and even emailed to check on how Coco was doing. I have had great customer service with Healthy Paws. I would highly recommend them.
