Healthy Paws Pet Insurance is wonderful!
Last month, my male cat, Miley, underwent a surgery called a "perineal urethrostomy" to save his life. He was hospitalized prior to and following the surgery. Unfortunately, he just had to have a follow-up surgery as he did not heal properly from the first. Healthy Paws processed all of my claims within a few days! I am beyond grateful that I chose this pet insurance for my Miley. I can focus on helping him to heal and not have to worry about how I will pay the vet bills. I chose a plan that covers 90% of eligible expenses. There are essentially 4 options for plans and there is no lifetime limits. Everything has been covered for Miley at 90% including meds, hospitalization, and surgeries. I have only had to pay for things like the exam and anything that is considered proactive (in this case, the special prescription food he needs). Healthy Paws also helped us immensely last year when Miley has surgery for mast cell tumors. I highly recommend this plan for all pets.

Healthy Paws is AWESOME!
Healthy Paws is one of the best companies I have ever dealt with, much less by far hands down the best insurance company - person or pet. Healthy Paws are what I think insurance companies were originally intended for (people, place or pet). You sign up for your plan, pay your premium (hope you never have to use it) and when the time unfortunately comes and you have to use it they cover you for what was agreed upon without nitpicking every single thing looking for a way to avoid paying out. They also treat you with respect, kindness, professionalism and prompt polite service. My dog has been covered by them since about 2010 and really haven't had to use it thankfully until this summer. Oliver started limping around August and having an issue with his rear right leg. The vet thought he had a torn ACL and we started him on conservative treatment - acupuncture, Rimadyl, rest and weight loss in hopes to avoid surgery. Healthy Paws covered his vet bills according to the plan I signed up for - 80% with a $100 deductible. Unfortunately he still needed surgery so scheduled it for the end of September. The night before Oliver seemed to injure his rear left leg and could barely walk. He had the rear right leg surgery and could only wait and see on next steps for the new injury once he was healed up. These guys invented customer service!
We've had Embrace for years, and have never had anything but amazing communication and service at every level. If there was a delay in processing a claim, we were informed that the claim was in process but that things were taking a little longer than expected. In most instances the claim was promptly paid once our deductible was met - IN FULL! Having the peace of mind they give me in case something unforeseen occurs is priceless to me!

Super fast wellness claim processing
I turned in a 300.00 wellness claim for my 3 year old saint Bernard and and got the refund less than a week later. Awesome company, great customer service. Glad to have the peace of mind by having them.

My cat was diagnosed with having stones. This meant several trips to the vet office for the exam, checkup and follow-up. With each visit, brought a new claim form to be filled out and submitted. However, the claim forms were easy to complete by updating my personal information and submitting to my vet for their information. My Vet faxing the information directly to Trupanion and I received an email directly from Trupanion that claim form has been received and submitted for processing. Within the next week or so, I received an email from Trupanion that my claim has been processed and payment is being sent. I was really surprised to see that my claim was processed really fast. I also had contact their customer service several times and they have been always very helpful and nice. They are truly a awesome company to deal with and would recommend to anyone in need of pet insurance!!!

CCL Rupture Repair
Having never made a claim we were a little apprehensive when we were forced to make a claim for a very expensive surgery for our GSD for TPLO surgery for her CCL rupture. We have been extremely pleasantly surprised by Trupanion's speedy processing and true to their word of the coverage we had. Sometimes we expect insurers to look for a way out but Trupanion has really impressed us with their assistance in helping our GSD get the treatment she needs and in her recovery.

Amazing!
I rarely go online to rate companies, but I feel compelled to write one up for Trupanion as they have been nothing short of amazing!! Not too long after I picked up Minka from the breeder, she ingested a rather large seed from a coconut palm in my parents' backyard. The next morning when I woke up to take Minka on her morning walk, she seemed constipated and vomited and it looked as if her stomach was slightly distended. I immediately brought her to the vet who had to surgically remove the seed that had distended her stomach to three times it's size! The bill was huge (around $3k) and I wasn't sure that my Trupanion pet insurance had "kicked in" just yet. Fortunately, even though the insurance hadn't become active just yet, Trupanion paid for the surgery and I think I paid around $750, as I mentioned Trupanion didn't have to do that and I consider Trupanion an amazing company and highly recommend it to any pet owner!!
