Glad I Made The Switch!
I have 2 dogs, both of whom had been insured under the ASPCA insurance plan since they were puppies. Time after time I had to "fight" with ASPCA over just about every claim. After extensive research of all of the other available options, I switched to Healthy Paws just under a year ago...and, I'm glad I did. One of my dogs was diagnosed with cancer (he's cancer free now!) and the bills, as you can imagine, were quite hefty. I was amazed that less than 24 hours after submitting my first claim I received an email that it has already been processed. My reimbursement check arrived in the mail a few days later. This wasn't a fluke...subsequent claims were processed within hours of submitting them. My only regret is that I didn't join Healthy Paws sooner!

Worth every penny!
Before getting Truepanion for my puppy, I had another insurance company. I won't name names, but it starts with an "E." That company did everything they could to get out of paying for my pup's claims. After four different claims being rejected I switched to Truepanion. Not only do they pay for the claims, but their customer service is very good. I just submitted a claim last week for my dog's $2,000+ surgery. They've already emailed me that they are processing the claim. I can't recommend them enough!

Made all the difference in my puppy's care!
I was a new pet owner when I got my puppy in August. I wasn't sure if pet insurance was really worth it. But my vet at our first appointment insisted that it was a good idea over the life of my pet. Well, it's been so worth it and my pup is still only 8 months old. Gia was diagnosed with elbow dysplasia at 6 months old. I had noticed she was limping and that it was worse after playing at the dog park. We got a couple of opinions (all covered by Embrace) and surgery was recommended by everyone. Gia had surgery 2 1/2 weeks ago - arthroscopic surgery on both elbows. But the surgeon found during her surgery that one elbow was worse than we had hoped. He had to do an osteotomy in order to realign the bone. He also recommended stem cell therapy to bring down the level of inflammation that she had been enduring. I got a pre-certification with Embrace before surgery and I can't tell you how delighted I was, not only with their quick response, but also with their "embrace" of alternative therapy. I went into Gia's surgery with a lot more confidence knowing what was covered and by how much - nothing had been excluded by Embrace. The surgeon's office sent the records and bill to Embrace on March 5th and today the 11th I already have the EOB and payment. Embrace is simply amazing! Gia and I will be with them for her whole life. And Embrace employees are great, too - always responsive, very nice and reaching out to show concern for my puppy. I can't give them a

Healthy Paws is second to none!
Upon getting our dog, Charlie, two years ago I began researching pet insurance companies and came across Healthy Paws...boy are my wife and I glad we did. We have submitted several (and I mean several) claims over the last two years and each time Healthy Paws has been prompt and attentive. They have always reached out to make sure Charlie is doing well after the submission of a claim. On top of that, each and every claim has been processed in a timely fashion and reimbursement checks sent out within in days...I cannot emphasize this enough. Healthy Paws is excellent about processing new claims and issuing the appropriate reimbursement based upon the coverage we selected. For example, Charlie had some digestive issues a few weeks ago and I submitted two claims as a result. After emailing the claims forms to Healthy Paws, I received emails within an hour or so that indicated each claim was received and being processed. Within a couple of more hours, I received two more emails, one for each claim, that indicated the claims have been fully processed and explanations of benefits were included therein. With three days I had my reimbursement check for each claim in my hands. I'm telling you, you cannot beat this company. They cover exactly what they say they will and never give you the run around.
