After several years with VPI I didn't think it could get any better. However, EMBRACE really puts the cherry on-top of that oreo shake. Using the well-ness program and getting the refund for rendered services has never been so completely satisfying. It's a great deal, I get back what I pay in, and it's quick and easy! Domino was diagnosed with diabetes, then CATARACT
We rescued Domino 2 years ago as a healthy senior, and as a first time pet owner selected embrace insurance. i hoped it wouldnt be necessary, but he developed diabetes and a heart murmur after a year or so. The bills weren't bad, hardly over my deductible until recently. He developed cataracts, and was almost blind within 3 weeks. We had the best vet care, and did a predetermination with embrace to see if his surgery was covered. it was and we were able to go forward with his surgery! The reimbursement process was fair and quick!

Beware!!
I have had Trupanion for over a year, and last month my cat was diagnosed with cancer. Trupanion has denied all my claims! My vet even wrote a letter of appeal to Trupanion stating that my cat has no previous history of cancer, and they still denied the claim. In fact a Trupanion representative even told me on the phone (and this is verbatim what she said), "I'm sorry but we can't help everyone." My suggestion is to do more research about this company, and you will find more reviews of people who have had the same problem. I feel like the whole thing was a scam. I never missed any payments (the payments came directly out of my bank account to them), but when I needed coverage for an illness that had no previous history, and no reason to be denied... they said no. Beware

I got Trupanion Pet Insurance for my two cats as a Christmas gift from my partner. We went away for Christmas and two days after we got back my young cat, Muffin, refused to eat. We took her to the vet for a check up and for the next three days we returned as none of the suggestions to get Muffin to eat were working. Finally, we had to get x-rays, medications, and finally surgery. At this point we were fresh out of ready cash to pay for procedures and had to call our brand new insurance company for pre-approvals. Trupanion was really easy to deal with, their case worker, Maria, was supportive and compassionate and Trupanion came through on all counts. I am so impressed and thankful for everything Trupanion has done for my little Muffin and for her worried parents. We are still working with the vet to find out what is wrong with our cat but I feel so much more confident knowing that we can depend on Trupanion.

WOW!This is my first experience w/ TRUPANION, so thank ful my vets recommended this company. I have been w/ VPI since 1989, have been happy w/ VPI, but TRUPANION WAS FANTASTIC! Healthy Paws has once again done an amazing job. We were faced with stress of our dog not eating/drinking and needing tests.There was Healthy Paws to the rescue, covering the vet bills, inquiring as to how our dog was doing, and being very responsive. Highly recommend Healthy Paws!

All you can ask for
Our Lucy needed emergency treatment on Christmas Day! We took her to a local pet emergency room. We did not think to bring any insurance forms or information with us. All we did was submit to Embrace our claim form and they took care of "filling in the blanks" for us. They contacted the hospital directly and kept us updated on the status before we even asked. The coverage we purchased is the coverage we received; no questions asked. If only they offered insurance for people!
