WONDERFUL!!!!!

My little Macy (cat) was diagnosed with asthma in 2013 and had 2 expensive emergency trips...he is maxed out with that part of the insurance but at times the poor boy gets constipated and has a few vet trips...I am so very thankful I signed him up in 2007 never knowing what the future would bring. They reimburse quickly and even for his medicine! He has better insurance than me!!! I LOVE the folks at ASPCA insurance-top notch customer service EVERY time I call. For a sacrifice of going out to dinner once a month you have peace of mind if your pet gets ill.

Embrace Pet Insurance was one of my best choices

My dog suffered from gastroenteritis, acid reflux and lost a lot of weight while I was away for a month. After testing, he was diagnosed with Addison's 2. After submitting my first claim, I got a response within 1-2 weeks. I reached my deductible and when I submitted my second claim, I received a check in less then a week. The staff has been very helpful and very cordial. I have to say, investing in Embrace Pet Insurance was the best decision I have made made for my dog, my best friend, Bear

best investment ever

Before we got our first dog we heard horror stories about huge vet bills to cover surgeries for dog bites, ingested toys and sprained joints. We decided to get health insurance after our dog got bitten the second time and needed emergency surgery which cost a fortune. We didn’t regret it for a second. Though, people warned us about insurance companies, we had only the best experience with Healthy Paws. When my second dog got severe diarrhea this January and we had to visit the vet over and over again, they covered our bills with no hassle. Since the treatments were not effective for over two month, we eventually had to have an ultrasound done to get a better diagnosis. Again, the bills were paid with no problem. Filing a claim is simple via email, the claim is approved within 24h and the check arrives by mail in a week or so. Moreover, HealthyPaws always send a nice email to see how our babies are doing. Since we had the diagnosis (inflammatory bowel disease) and we have targeted treatment, our dog is doing much better. He haven’t had diarrhea for over 2 weeks now, and he is back to his happy himself. It’s a relief to know that we don’t have to hesitate to get the best health care for our dogs due to the vet bills. Health Insurance is definitely an investment but you are happy to have it when you need it!

Ok insurance company

I have two insurance companies and this one pays the best; however if they are your secondary - it will take a lot of time to get reimbursed and many phone calls and anxiety. The employees have always been helpful --- but still I've have to reopen claims (on same condition) even after send EOB of other provider. I will be canceling the other insurance so I can only deal with the one.

Takes the financial worry out of caring for my dog

My pure breed dog has had several health issues including major knee surgery. healthy paws has processed every claim within one day of receipt and paid to policy limits. Health Paws is wonderful! They even follow up and ask how my dog is recovering after surgery. Best decision I have made in a long time. Thank you!

10/10 Excellent

All my pets (2 cats and 1 dog) are insured with Healthy Paws and I'm extremely happy with the services Healthy Paws provided. They are very fast turn around in processing the claims. I emailed the claims, within 24hrs my claimed had been processed and in couple days I received reimbursement in the mail. This insurance company shows their care and sincere for the patients. They email me to check on my pets health, once they got the submitted claim.

My Dog Is Fighting Cancer

My dog is facing the fight of her life. She has Hemangiosarcoma. It is a terrible cancer that has no cure. Many dogs never make it out of the emergency room. I was lucky my dog had surgery and after four tough days she pulled though. She is undergoing chemo now. If this will give us more time with her, it is a blessing. It would have never been possible financially without our Healthy Paws policy. It has been the gift of life. The customer service and same day claim processing is like nothing I have ever experienced. Calls and emails asking how my dog is doing is so refreshing. I tell everyone I know it will be the best decision you ever make for your pet. I can't imagine having to euthanize my beloved dog because I couldn't afford to pay for surgery. Thank you Healthy Paws!

Coverage was so good, I wrote a NY Times OP/ED

I got coverage for our two dogs two years ago and we are so pleased that we did. Our dog Nelson had a 12.5 spleen mass that had to be removed. Instead of worrying about whether we could afford the cost, we could focus on what was best for Nelson. With a CT-Scan, ultrasound, blood transfusions and the sugary, the cost was over $7000 and Healthpaws pet insurance covered 90% after our $500 deducable. They also covered the follow up bloodtests and medication. The claims department were friendly and easy to work with. Nothing was ever a problem when dealing them them. They paid very quickly- which removed a lot of stress for us. And unlike other pet insurance, there was no cap on the coverage. I found the insurance so extraordinary, that I actually wrote and OP/ED opinion essay about Healthy Paws pet insurance that was published in the New York Times that was titled "Why I'm jealous of my dog's insurance." You can read it here: http://www.nytimes.com/2014/03/26/opinion/why-im-jealous-of-my-dogs-insurance.html?_r=0 I give Healthy Paws pet insurance my highest recommendation. Eric Wee

Best pet insurance available

I researched all the pet insurance companies I could find and Healthy Paws really stood out because they were the only insurance company I could find that covers hereditary conditions. I have two dachshunds, so I am fearful they will develop bad backs. I've had a few issues with my dog Charlie needing some costly medical treatment and Healthy Paws has been excellent. They are soooo quick to process claims and always give exactly what I am owed with no questions. The customer service has been stellar as well, they are compassionate people wanting the best for my dog. I have been a customer for over 3 years now and had several claims all handled in the same quick and caring way. A+++++
