Healthy Paws is responsive and caring.
My 2-year-old cat ate the ears off a stuffed bear resulting in the need for emergency surgery to remove the offensive object that got lodged at the opening of his small intestine. After imaging tests at my own vet he was sent to the emergency clinic to see the surgeon, who concurred that he required a surgical procedure to remove the blockage, or he would certainly die. The surgery was performed that evening and Rolo is recovering very nicely. He had a 2x1x1/4" piece of rotting fabric removed from his intestine. He required overnight hospitalization and medication to aid his healing. Healthy Paws responded immediately to my claim submission, provided reimbursement quickly, and were compassionate in their communications regarding Rolo's recovery.

Thank goodness for a company with integrity
We have had Embrace for many years with the most professional, kind and efficient service. Now that our dog is having problems, had surgeries and needed extra services, Embrace has been right there. I can not say enough about this company. We certainly have recommended it to our family, friends and even strangers. It is a first rate company. I only wish my health insurance worked as well.

What a find
I bought an adorable miniature poodle at three months and friends encouraged me to get pet insurance. I was sceptical at first. Some years ago I had cats who were very healthy up till there last year (they were 17 when they died). I had diligently paid my premiums into a competitor's plan and when I needed to claim, I received very little assistance.Anyway I decide to join Pet Plus Us. When puppy was 4 months old it was obvious he was having difficulty. He was diagnosed with bilateral lateral displacement of the patella, a congenital problem. he required surgery straight away followed by rehab. At 10 months he had to undergo a more definitive surgery and is now signed up for more rehab. I have been so impressed with Pet Plus Us. At this point I have contributed to the plan for 9 months and they have reimbursed me for the significant costs that my puppy has incurred. The staff are polite and helpful and payment is very prompt. I would highly recommend this company.

Far better pet insurance. Was with Pet First and they were horrible raising rates by 3x with no notice and terrible with claims. I'm telling everyone I know to switch to Embrace. So far they have been very responsive and quickly pay claims. I will stay with Embrace forever.

So far, so good
I'm a registered veterinary technician who is no longer in practice. When I left practice, I knew it was important to insure my dog as I no longer had access to discounted vet care. I chose Embrace due to the USAA discount and the wellness plan option. I like the idea of having a wellness plan in place that is not linked directly to one vet clinic. I can use it where ever I chose (and where ever we may end up moving to in the future). My wellness claim was paid extremely fast. I hope to not have to use the injury/illness coverage, but I am glad it is there.
