Straightforward, no hassle experience
We had no problem filing our claim, the paper work and procedures were self explanatory, and we recieved the reimbursement before we had to pay our credit card bill. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised that all but $100 of the bill was covered by VPI, which was nearly $2000. We hope we won't be needing to rely on VPI any time soon, however, VPI allows us to keep our peace of mind in case something does.

Friendly, Fast and Exceptional Service
Our baby has a variety of medical issues (Diabetes, Pancreatitis to name a few)and Pets Best has helped me every step of the way. This past claim was for routine check up and heart worm testing but most of our claims are for more extensive trips to the vet. I submit by mail and within a few days I am notified by e-mail of the status of my claim and I then receive a check shortly after that in the mail. I appreciate that I can talk directly to customer service when I call and not an automated system. Love you guys!!

A literal life saver!
We got Healthy Paws 3 months ago for our 5 month old puppy. On new years day she got into some pills and we had to rush her to the emergency vet. She had been to be hospitalized for two days to make sure they flushed everything out of her system so no long term damage would occur. After paying the deposit so they could get started on her treatment I was a little skeptical about whether or not I would ever get reimbursed the 90% that Healthy Paws says they give back since it was such an expensive bill. I filed the claim as soon as my dog came home. How long did it take to hear back from Healthy Paws? ONE DAY! Not only did they complete her claim faster than I could have expected I was reimbursed 90% (after my deductible was taken out)! I can't tell you how much it means to know that whatever happens to my furry child, I never have to second guess wether or not I can afford to potentially save her life. It is a huge relief to never have to deny her help because of cost. I know many people who have had to let their pets go because they could not afford the help to save their lives. Healthy Paws Insurance for your dog is the best!
My dog Smokey, a 7 year old cockapoo has been covered by Healthy Paws Insurance for over three years now. Smokey has undergone CCL surgery on both his left and right knees. Healthy Paws Insurance was right there in both instances and were quick to reimburse us for both surgeries without any hassles or delays. In fact, I was amazed in both instances the swiftness of taking care of both claims. It is most reassuring to deal with an insurance company like Healthy Paws, because of their reliability and dependability. I am so happy to have found them after having investigated several Pet Insurance Companies. I will remain covered by them for the duration of Smokey's life, and forever be appreciative of their efforts to assist me in taking care of our beloved Smokey. Would I recommend them to any pet owner? Without a doubt; you simply can't go wrong with this company.

Simplicity in a sea of chaos
In a matter of 6 days I had to take my two cats to the emergency clinic a total of 5 times (1 overnight hospitalization each) and each of them to our regular vet. They were both having severe vomiting and there were a lot of diagnostics that needed to be done to get to the bottom of the issue. Also, one of my cats stopped eating for 3 days and she needed to be hospitalized to get electrolytes, fluids and nutrition. With little to no sleep for 6 days, I was thrilled to learn how easy it was to submit a claim with HealthyPaws. I installed the mobile app and was able to take pictures of the invoices within minutes of finishing up my appointments. I had to call my vet to submit their medical records. This all started on a Sunday and the first reimbursement checks arrived the Friday of that same week. I am so happy to know that we don't have to worry about the cost of emergencies and can just take care of our fur babies knowing that HealthyPaws will take care of us.

My great dane puppy was diagnosed with bloat at 10 months. We sent in a claim and were paid an awesome amount for trial insurance. It was well worth it and I have signed her up for coverage. Was well pleased for a trial coverage that we had to pay 0 for. Thank you AKC!!

Rescued my new best friend Perry about a year ago and decided I should probably get some pet insurance. Researched several different insurance companies and decided on Healthy Paws. It was a great choice. Poor Perry who had a rough start in life had a couple of medical "bumps in the road". Healthy Paws was there to provide us help when we needed it. Filing a claim is super easy and can even be done from your phone. Services were prompt and friendly and reimbursement checks were in the mailbox within a week or so.... Have only positive feedback about this company and will and have recommended it to my friends and family.
