My twelve year old Sheltie periodicals has tendonitis. Drugs do nothing but with regular acupuncture, he is able to maintain an active happy life style. I could not afford the treatments if he did not have Pets Best. Thank you for facilitating Ranger's happiness!

Put me in a really horrible spot
I had pets best for 2 years and have been happy with them until yesterday. I got a email saying that a claim I submitted was not going to be cover (even though) this same claim was covered last month (for medication) and it stated its because the condition was preexisting. I called and talked to a customer service rep named Amanda I started to explain how there must be a error with this claim and to look into it. She comes back and tells me there was actually an error on their end 2 years and that they have been covering a condition they shouldn't have been and they thought that I should be thanking them for covering something that I guess was preexisting (even though it wasn't - yes when I signed up for insurance my dog had something going on with her but we still to this day have no idea what) and now they are thinking the medication she is taking to a condition she had 2 years ago. My dog is 10 and has to go to the vet now once a month and now is not covered so needless to say I was unhappy and wanted to speak to a manager. Bren a manager called me back and was even worse at speaking to customer than Amanda her response to me was again I should be thanking them and I SHOULD TAKE OWNERSHIP because I supposilvely gave false information when signing up with them 2 years ago. MY DOG WAS NOT DIAGNOISED WITH ANYTHING AT THAT TIME! I dropped this insurance company immediately and signed up with healthy paws with actually better coverage for half the price. Obviously her conditions will not be cover but I refuse to give pets best another penny.

Glad we have pet insurance!
My dog was diagnosed with a very rare infection and he's currently undergoing treatment and has for the past 9 months! The treatment is very expensive and having ASPCA coverage has helped defray the cost of the treatments. I've been very happy with the speed of getting reimbursements and pleased with direct deposit. Wish they had a mobile app to make submission of receipts easier. Also, being in Southern CA, I wish that ASPCA would adjust their permissible rates - this isn't like people insurance where the doctors agree to a specific amount. We are stuck paying whatever the doctor charges and then we are limited by what ASPCA considers to be reasonable ... so while I pay for the plan to get 80% reimbursement, it averages to be MUCH LESS than 80% but it's better than nothing!

Good coverage at a reasonable price.
My oldest cat has had 2 serious medical problems in the last 5 years, both of which were costly. The claims submission process was easy (I scanned and emailed my claim forms) and the funds I recovered defrayed a substantial amount of my out of pocket expenses.

So Easy!
My dog had ulcerative epithelial dystrophy. We started in emergency because of course I noticed this on a weekend and he was in so much pain. It wasn't healing so went to see my regular vet. We saw her a couple of times and the eye was still not healing. She then sent us to a specialist who performed a Corneal debridement. Embrace was awesome! Everything was covered and was handled so fast. Thanks Embrace!

USAA and Embrace - Great Insurance!
This is a general comment about how pleased we have been with Embrace Pet Insurance. We have two dogs - a nine year old Beagle and a three year old Aussie. Both dogs have Wellness Plans and Accident/Insurance coverage. Thankfully - we have only had to use the Wellness Plans. And they cover everything a normal pet could need annually - to include obedience training. Our Aussie has passed the Canine Good Citizen exam and is now in a higher level of training to become a certified therapy dog. That training was covered as well! It is a comfort to know that we may never have to make a hard decision when it comes to providing both routine and emergency care for our beloved pets. Thank you Embrace and all of your friendly staff. And thank you to USAA for endorsing and referring members to Embrace for their pet insurance needs.

Excellent
After adopting my hot diggity dog i decided to invest in pet insurance to ease my mind. The adoption shelter offered free thirty day petplan insurance. The reason why i didnt stick with them even though they gave me a discount is the fact that there waa no wellness coverage, and the co insurance is different between acident and illness versus specialist visits. I loved the fact that embrace allowed me to submit claims easilu, either email, fax or online via uploading. In addition i completed the ortho exam which i got a response within twenty four hours. Calling customer servicr was pleasant, enthusiastic staff. They also respond email within 24 hrs. My first wellness claim was reviewed within 48hrs and it is currently being proceeced via direct deposit.

Great Decision!
Ironically, we decided to get pet insurance after our Cat, Oscar had crystals in his bladder and was sent to the emergency vet. We racked up a huge bill $3,600 and decided it was time to do something. Instead of getting insurance for our cat, we got insurance for our accident prone dog. Finn, our Border Collie/German Sheppard mix, loves to eat things, especially things he shouldn't. One morning Finn decided to eat my garlic peeler and a couple garlic cloves, which meant my husband needed to rush him to the vet. ASPCA was fantastic, they processed my claim very quickly and always make sure to give me a call to check on Finn. Anytime someone mentions pet insurance, I tell them to check out ASPCA.

Healthy Paws = Peace of Mind
I never had pet insurance before. When I decided I was ready to start a new canine family, insurance was definitely going to be a member. After adopting my third dog, I started researching pet insurance companies. I'm so glad I did because it led me to Healthy Paws. Their high ratings are completely justified. My dogs are young. My oldest just turned 4, the middle guy just turned 2 and the baby just turned 1. I got the insurance about a year ago (after adopting the youngest pup) just in case something happened to any of them. I never thought I'd be utilizing it so soon. Just recently, my 2y/o needed vet care for a GI issue. Shortly after that, my 1y/o became violently ill and needed to spend 2 days at the vet. Thank God they are both OK and thank God I have Healthy Paws. Submitting claims is as easy as described. Download the app and take a pic of your invoice. They email you within a couple of days letting you know what they are covering and a few days after that, you get a reimbursement check. So easy and stress free. Having a sick pet is stressful enough. Knowing your insurance company isn't going to give you a hard time is a load off. Very straight forward. If they say they cover it, it's covered. My vet is so impressed with Healthy Paws, he is now recommending them to his other clients. And talk about friendly? Such nice people work there. Their emails are so sweet and personal. They know your pets names and always hope they feel better soon. I picked the company that had the highest customer ratings, and I totally agree with the masses. I'm very happy and proud to add my praise to Healthy Paws.

Could not be more pleased with Healthy Paws!
I've had Healthy Paws since my dog was a puppy. I have been nothing but overly pleased with them. When my dog needed surgery on both of his elbows I had no hesitation going forward with the procedure because I knew Healthy Paws had my back! Their customer service is world class and they could not make the claim process easier!
