I was very impressed with the ease of filing claims and how quickly I got responses from the company regarding the claim status. Reimbursement took longer than I expected considering how quickly everything else happened.

Bella Surgery, Bilateral Luxating Patellas
Our dog Bella had problems with her back legs. We took her to the Vet, and she was diagnosed with Bilateral Luxating Patellas, or floating knees. A condition the Vet said would get worse over time and could lead to severe arthritis. The vet recommended surgery. The surgery was very expensive and we are thankful that Trupanion helped pay for most of the surgery.

Great, fast service!
This was my first claim with Trupanion and they made it so easy! All I had to do was fill out a few lines on their claim form and send it in with the invoice from my vet. They took care of the rest and sent out a check within 48 hours. I was worried they would make me jump through hoops but it was so simple. It's nice not being like the enemy when claiming an insurance reimbursement!

I wish my "people health insurance" were as good
My dog got bitten by a venomous snake and the emergency treatment was expensive. Not only did Health Paws review and approve the claim WITHIN A DAY and without any quibbling about the cost of treatment, but they also send me a follow up email to ask if my dog was okay. She was.(P.S. This is not the first claim I've had, and every experience has been the same.) If Healthy Paws had health insurance for people, I would buy it in a heartbeat.

At this tough time was happy on how fast the claim was processed . Lucy doesn't have long but trying to enjoy what time she has left. I'm glad I did chose to get insurance . Unfortunelly Lucy has had many surgeries .,
