Fast and reliable!!

My cat was hit by a car and I had just gotten Healthy Paws about 3 months prior. When I had to submit my claim for the surgery it was easy! I used the app took a picture of the invoice, and asked my vet to send the medical records and my claim was processed the next day. They sent me an email letting me know how much I would be reimbursed and then the check was in my mail box in 4 days. They're super simple and no hassle! Can't thank them enough I will be a lifelong member.

Trupanion is simply THE BEST !

OMG, where should I begin, my 12 years and 6 month old other wise healthy Pug would not eat but drink only water and vomit that too...this was going on for 3-4 days before I traced out where our vet Dr. John O'Dea has moved, long story short, he referred us to VCA San Leandro, an Oncology speciality for pets. That please is very good too. Tuesday night Dr. Kristen Danielson examined my Pug, Veeran in the emergency at 8:30, and she stabilized him with an IV. We went back the next morning at 9:30 and he was prepped for Ultra Sound, Dr. Tong radiologist, did his part and Surgen Dr. Kimberly Carlson, took over Veeran along Oncologist Dr. Christine Merrick, both the vets shared the diagnosis with us and gave us options.., by looking at the ultasound images,we think it is intestinal Cancer, is operable and our dog was taken into surgery from Ultasound ....we accepted and shared Trupanion info with Sarah and before Veeran was taken into surgery, I received an email from Trupanion, that the procedure for my dog is pre approved. This is why I am giving a 10/10. That peace of mind at that time in our live is worth every year we paid our dues to Trupanion! My dog is 12. 6 years old and We choose to go for surgery, why because I cannot see my dog in pain and let him die in front of me...without us trying to save him and so we tried....and boy are we glad we did. The diagnosis remains the same same. That surgery gave him a second chance ! Thank you Trupanion! You are truly a BFF 👏👏👏 Sincerely, Amrita, Veeran , his family & friends

Wish All Insurance Worked this Well

Great experience with Healthy Paws. They respond right away, explain everything very clearly, and when you call--surprise!--a real person answers the phone. That person is friendly, helpful, and seems genuinely to care for our two dogs. Our vets all recommend Healthy Paws as the best of the best. I wish human insurance worked this well!

I did a lot of research on pet insurance, before choosing Embrace. I definitely made the right decision. They have covered two claims and a wellness check in just under a year. They are prompt, with great customer service, and always answer my questions. Their prices are also very competitive. HIGHLY recommended! :)

Very Impressed! Great Service prompt claim payment

Our 2 year old Shih tzu mix was super high energy and loved chasing the ball. One day at the park running for the ball her right rear leg just suddenly collapsed under her. We immediately took her to our vet who did xrays and said there were no broken bones but that there was a lot of movement in her knee joint. He suggested keeping quiet for 7 10 days to see if it got better. It did not so he referred us to a specialty vet in town. LVVSC http://lvvsc.com/ and they did a TPLO surgery on her. It has now been 10 days and she is doing amazingly well. The rehab is 12 weeks so we still have a long way to go. Our bill for the surgery was almost $3500. We had already met our deductible from the initial visit to our normal vet and we have now already received a check from HealthyPaws for 90% of the surgery charge. If only our personal insurances could be so easy to put in a claim and so fast to make a payment! We are VERY pleased to say the least. We did everything using the HealthyPaws app on Android and it was super easy. HealthyPaws insurance saved us from an expense we were not prepared for. We bought it when we first got her and it was obviously a great investment. They even checked in with us to see how Lola was doing ... a nice touch and not something we expected. :)

Peace of mind

We have carried this insurance for both of our pets for a few years now and are very pleased with the responsiveness of processing claims and providing reimbursements. The addition of being able to submit claims online made the process so much simpler! More recently, our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel was found to have a mass growing in her middle ear which explained the months of afflictions she has had. This included vomiting, loss of appetite, clumsiness, weakness in her facial muscles, and a head tilt. We would never have been able to continue with the multiple evaluations and tests she has had without Healthy Paws timely support. Ultimately our baby just completed surgery to remove the mass that went very successfully. She seems to finally be on the road to recovery and we can't be grateful enough to the people at Healthy Paws for being with us throughout this endeavor.

Thank God we had Embrace

Our Golden Retriever decided to eat a sofa while we were attending our sons Graduation in another state. We left her with our next door neighbor who was wonderful with her but didn't see what she had done.With all of the surgery that Annie required we were overwhelmed not only with caring for her but the bills.
