Far superior and user friendly
I have 2 dogs with another company. They charge deductible for every different illness. The last claim still hasn't been resolved 5 months later. None of these problems happen with our 1 year old pup. I would change today and insure the others with embrace if they didn't have chronic preexisting ailments. Very pleased with Embrace for new dog. Live and learn.

Afte a bad previous experience over health care cost for an older cat companion I resolved to change that in my life. Ater 2 a year wait my kitten arrived, and I insured him right way with pets best illness and wellness programs. I felt this was the best and most economic way to raise and protect my kitten. On my first wellness claim pets best came through wth reinbursement in a week. Thank you pet best

Claim experience
Our dog was sick, had a prolonged stay in ICU.Although initially there was some confusion and delay with paperwork regarding our claim, ultimately things were settled (relatively quickly) and the Embrace paid the claim. Our dog is now healthy and financially his care was covered by embrace which was very helpful.

Couldn't do without it
If we didn't have this insurance my dog would probably not be around now. The cost of medical treatments for dogs is incredibly expensive. My buddy has had some problems which have been taken care of due to having this insurance. The best.

I have nothing but good things to say about Healthy Paws. They approved my claim PLUS sent me my reimbursement check in days...not weeks. Not only that, but they followed up with a sincere and personal email asking about my dog and how she was doing. That was when I knew Health Paws was the right place to be. I really did feel like part of the "family" and they were asking because they truly cared. They are the best!

Love this pet insurance
I have always been very happy with this insurance company. I had VIP Pet insurance years ago and they can't even come close. Trupanion has given me the option of being able to keep my pets alive instead of having to put them down because I can't afford treatment.

Amazing and caring service!
They are very professional and the application process was so easy. No hassle claims process and quik!! The previous provider i used never processed one claim!! They kept asking for the vet notes or anything to delay! Healthy paws as been a much better replacement and they are the only pet insurance provider I will ever use for my pets. The thing that I have appreciated the most is the sincere and individual attention they have offered. They even sent an email just to ask how my dog was doing after a recent illness. I can not endorse this company enough!!!

Trupanion helped saving my dog's life
I have a 7 year old Chihuahua mix named Nikita and I have been with Trupanion for a few years now and they have been great helping out with a couple illnesses here and there. I thought it was great to have it as we never know what can happen, but considering how healthy Nikita always has been, it never crossed my mind that anything serious could ever happen to her. About a month ago, Nikita started breathing faster than usual and lost her appetite so I brought her to my local vet where they sampled her blood, took some xrays but nothing was really showing up besides that she had a fever and maybe fighting a little bug. The following days she still wasn't feeling great so I brought her in again, 4 days in a row but still not really any reason why she was not feeling good. The 5th day her breathing got extremely fast, over 100 breaths per minute so I took her into the emergency room where she was put into an oxygen chamber immediately. She got better with the oxygen the first day, and they ran a bunch of test, put her on antibiotics but still no explanation. The second day her breathing went back up and the third day she was breathing so fast they told me she probably was not going to make it through the night and that we had 2 options: put her down or put her on a ventilator, which is an expensive option where only 20% of the dogs that go on it survive. I called Trupanion and asked if they would pre approve the claim and pay the hospital directly, within an hour I got approval and was able to proceed on putting Nikita on the ventilator. I was so impressed and also relieved to know that the financial part was covered and I could just focus on Nikita rather than stressing about the money aspect. A couple days later Nikita was able to get off the ventilator and the next day she was back home with us, finished her antibiotics and her lungs were clear, her breathing normal and slowly started getting back to herself. Now she is back 100%, my best friend got to live and she is enjoying life to the fullest. I cannot thank trupanion enough for the support they provided me throughout the whole process. I would recommend to anyone that care about their animal to get pet insurance with them, their coverage is the best and you never know when you might find yourself in a situation where you have to chose to save your pet's life or not and the money part should not be what decides if he or she gets to live or not. Again thank you so much trupanion, me and my fiance are so glad to have Nikita with us!!
