Awful company
Awful company. Downgraded my policy without my consent, screwing my dog over at the end of her life. I don’t know how these people sleep at night, knowing that they hurt people and their Innocent pets.

Between having the perfect vet team at Abadie Vet Hospital and then being covered by Pat's Best insurance I always have the ability to make the best decisions with my vet on all of my pets. I recommend both every chance I can !

My dog being diagnosed with osteosarcoma has been scary and difficult in so many ways. The only part about it that hasn't been is paying for his treatment, all because of Trupanion. The customer service has been excellent and I honestly wouldn't have been able to treat him (two surgeries, multiple rounds of chemotherapy and visits to the doggy ER) without his Trupanion coverage. So glad I have it and I cannot thank the team at Trupanion enough for what they do!

Do NOT choose Fetch!
This pet insurance was better when it was still Petplan and underwritten by AXA XL. Since it was taken over by Fetch and now underwritten by Axis Capital, they've become ridiculously unreasonable and nearly double the premiums during the yearly renewal with no justification other than the standard "age of pet and cost of veterinary care." My dog is not even a senior yet by veterinary standards and his age didn't double in 1 year to justify nearly doubling the premium! Also, considering most responsible pet owners who bother to pay for pet insurance are highly likely also taking their beloved pets to annual check ups, it's very easy to prove that the cost of veterinary care has also not doubled in the past 1 year to justify doubling the premium. Another major reason to not choose Fetch: they now try to exclude absolutely everything as a pre-existing condition even if it means using illegal practices to do so. If you want to donate your money to a company that doesn't care about your pets and is just after your money, then Fetch is definitely the pet insurance company for you!

Have not made any claims. But visiting my Vet and then contacting Trupanion I was enrolled very quickly and painless. I feel that I was given a lot of information Hopefully the few post I saw were one offs but then I understand my Vet will be handling the billing I only have to pay the deductible and my 10%
