Where are my reimbursements?
I have four claims in beginning on November 5 and still have not received any reimbursement of my Veterinary bills. Today is December 13. Your premiums are low, but your service is terrible. Four weeks I was told that the app and website were not accepting claims. Why would it take so long to fix this website issue? I paid thousands of dollars in vet bills and I need that money now. After all it is the holidays.

Filing the claim was easy, completion of the claim and payment was expeditious!
Filing the claim was easy, and fast. Approval came within a couple of days and payment was processed within 24 hours. I was provided full details on what was and wasn’t covered in my claim and was updated daily on the progress of the claim. I would recommend Trupanion to anyone looking for pet insurance!

I have always had a great experience with MetLife pets! They respond to claims so fast. I put the claim in on a Saturday and got a reimbursement on Tuesday.

We got the insurance for our new puppy. After his first vet visit I was able to quickly upload his receipt for his vaccines and first visit. I was reimbursed the next day or so via zelle. I wish that everything was as easy as filing our first claim.

They are a scam
This company is a scam. They have repeatedly delayed and refused to pay the only claim we have ever submitted. Despite my providing all medical records my dog has ever received—multiple times—they continue to send emails claiming additional records are needed. I have had to call them repeatedly, yet the issue remains unresolved and no payment has been made. Based on this experience, I believe this company is engaging in bad-faith claims handling.

The vet would not give an itemized receipt for a service as they state it was a package. I feel that insurance should have reimbursed for part of the bill for the other medical expenses on the receipt.
