Both positives and negatives.
I am happy I was able to receive help with Emma's medical bills. I am also happy Trupanion interacts with, and pays directly do, the veterinarians. With that said, I was not happy that, in such an emotional emergency situation, I was forced to appeal your quick initial denial of coverage. I was further disappointed that, within a week of the claim for treatment expenses, I was notified of a substantial increase in monthly premiums.

I had no idea that my Vet could actually file a claim for me and the claim could be paid to them. When my dog recently had about a pancreatitis, that was a huge help. Fingers crossed that she continues to improve.

Trupanion is the BEST!
I can’t say enough good things about Trupanion. Coverage for our two pups has been EXTRAORDINARY! The policy we purchased assisted us with throughout their lives and right up until when we, sadly, had to say goodbye. This included one very expensive back surgery in which the policy contribution to the costs helped immensely. I have often, and will continue to, wholeheartedly recommend Trupanion whenever able. Pets Best Claims Process - Positive Experience
I had several claims due to an illness that I submitted over a period of about 3 months. In all cases, the Explanation of Benefits came quickly, was well explained and matched exactly what I expected based on my coverage. My only quibble is that I was never able to successfully file a claim online or by using the app. However, the e-mail claim submission was straightforward and not particularly cumbersome.
