Trupanion has been an excellent medical insurance provider for my dog. The veterinary clinic I took her accepted Trupanion, handled all the paperwork, and even submitted a pre-approval on my behalf. Once the claim was approved, I only had to pay my 10% portion of the bill. I’m extremely happy with the way Trupanion manages its medical coverage and claims process. Uploading the notes and invoices were a bit challenging. They were sent as PDFs but was sent an email saying they were not. So I called up customer service and they directed me to an email in which to send again the notes and invoices. They received them. Customer service went step by step with me. That was very helpful. Once received they were reviewed and payment was scheduled right away. I was very pleased.
