Always responsive with payments. Had a issue with my dog with lyptospirosis last year. Almost $5,000 Bill. We needed to take her to take her to the emergency room and Embrace was there to pay the portion of the bill in a quick responsive manner.

I lost the battle with keeping my beloved dog Groot alive over the weekend. During this tough time where he was in emergency for 10 days, my hospital bills were rising up tremendously and I was getting worried that not only I had a chance of losing my little Angel, but paying a large bill when all would be said and done! When I had to lay him to rest on the final day, I was handed a bill and this is where my heart dropped twice and I am here to say that without hesitation Trupanion kicked in and absorbed a big portion of the bill! I got insurance in hope, that I would never have to be in a position to use it, but when I called upon Trupanion they were right by my side. Thanks for being my wings in the worst period of my life.

They take FOREVER to process claims
They take FOREVER to process claims. Then they request additional documentation to take even more time to process your claim. I have had a legitimate claim open for almost a month. This company doesn’t want to pay and they are dragging it out.

It would be better to take your premium…
It would be better to take your premium and put it in a savings account. They don’t pay out nearly enough to make it worth it, and they basically steal your money while your pet dies. I paid a $215 monthly premium over a 6 year period which amounts to a little over $15k. When my pet had a major medical emergency and passed away, her medical bill came to $2800. They paid less than 40% of that bill. With all due respect, SCREW that!
