I submitted a claim for emergency veterinary services for my French bulldog Ziggy. I received a message the claim was under review. Approximately 4 days later my claim was completed and my reimbursement was in my bank account. Very happy with Spot!

The whole claim process went rather smoothly. I was grateful for the stress free process during a very stressful day with my beloved pet. I was also impressed on how fast Trupanion settled my claim. They were able to send me an itemized claim summary really quickly. I am very happy that I made the decision to join Trupanion!

High cost but relatively pain free pet insurance
Edited my my review from 2 to 4 stars as there was a communication error. Initially I was under the impression we had been overcharged for 2.5 years; however, after Trupanion and I reconnected, we found out that they do not change the policy price based on age and there was a breakdown. We were paying $160/month. We used it once in 4.5 years. The claims process was relatively easy and had no issues aside from the pricing.

GSD claim…
I applied on line for a claim on my German Shepherd. It was finalized and a check was in the mail the following day! Quick and easy!! I believe in having pet insurance for both of my GSD's. You never know what can happen and having insurance reduces your stress level and your pocketbook!

Embrace has been very good about… claims reimbursement
Embrace has been very good about reimbursing claims in a timely manner. Usually, claims are processed within a few days after submitting them. Submitting claims are super simple using their on-line claim submission process.

i paid for coverage that they won't cover
I had two older claims that I had not put in. i have had this insurance since 2017 and have paid every month. now I am being told that even though I paid for the coverage, since I didn't file in time it is being denied. I don't think that is even legal.
