Have had Healthy Paws Insurance for a little over two years. My Dog Star just had two major surgeries within a three month period. I submitted my claims and was reimbursed quickly by Healthy Paws. I called them last year for an explanation of a very small claim and the person I spoke to was so kind and helpful. I am so happy to have them insuring my dog’s health! Am planning to get another dog (cuz you have to have two!) and will insure him too.

This pace has been billing me for two months with out accepting my requests to cancel. I’ve called the Philippines two times. They are not based in USA! No direct phone number or mailing address. I’ve filed claim with WA State Attorney General. Fraud... stay away.

So easy for my busy life style
I chose Nationwide because of the cost and access to preventative coverage. But, like with all pet insurance, I was dreading having to deal with paying out of pocket and submitting claims via mail or fax after vet visits because we work 60-70 hrs per week and was afraid we would forget and lose money. Not to mention the added time dealing with depositing reimbursement checks. Nationwide‘s app took care of that concern!! I can submit a photo of a receipt, prescription, or an emailed pdf file as soon as I get home from the vet appointment. The app is so easy to use! After I submit a claim, Nationwide emails me to notify they received the claim, when certain costs go towards the deductible, and when it’s time to accept the reimbursement online. That’s right, I can also do direct deposit of the reimbursement checks! Saves me precious time that I can then spend loving my pups! Highly recommend!

Worse claim processing
This is the worst pet insurance company I ever have I have to wait 30 days for my claim. I call the customer service they said always still processing to check the medical record my question is why they so lazy??? Do you see insurance always on time take my payment but for the claim payment is take forever. really not recomendate this insurance to the pets’a owner trust me don’t waste your money or your time with this insurance. Really bad customer service and really bad pet insurance

We've had a policy with Pets Best ever since our dog was a brand-new pup, and have had to file a surprising number of claims over the years. Everything from ordinary illness to some fairly major surgery. Pets Best has always handled the claims quickly, easily, and with total integrity - they've always paid exactly as promised, no delays, no hassles. On-line claim filing is a breeze. Not much more I could possibly ask for from a pets insurance company. Thanks!

Claim going on 5 weeks
We’ve had a claim open for almost 5 weeks now. It’s for a condition they’ve already approved a claim for so there’s no reason it should take this long. I have no faith at all that they would pay out in a timely manner if we ever needed them to. Go elsewhere. When I’ve inquired about my claim status they send a stock reply saying their claims department is busy.

Do NOT HESITATE - GET THIS INSURANCE!!!
My little dog Simon needed both his lens replaced so he would be able to see again.. I called Healthypaws to see if Simon was covered [I had been told by the vet tech that Simon's problem was almost never covered by pet insurance]. They were SO nice on the phone and stated, "of course that's covered". Simon had his surgery [and now can see]. I received an email from Healthypaws after notifying me that the claim had been processed, just checking to see how Simon was feeling. I have never had ANY company, pet or people, that does exactly what they promise and then goes beyond. They really do care. I would say don't even think twice, do yourself and your pet a favor and go to Healthypaws and sign up. Oh and filing a claim is unbelievably easy. I have my vet email my invoice which I upload onto Healthypaws site, hit send and that's it.
