Pleasure doing business with Nationwide.

Nationwide has been a blessing for me. I never expected my dog to get ill but she did. Nationwide has been an excellent company to deal with. Claims are handled promptly and payments are issued on time. Sure makes a difficult time easier. I would prefer it if my dog was not ill but it’s reassuring to know that Nationwide is there for me.

Peace of Mind

Money always seems to be tight. I have all 3 of my dogs insured, though, because I don’t ever want the budget to dictate what I can or can’t do for my pups. They give me their best, I need to do the same for them. The insurance pays for itself over the course of a year, even though I bought to cover the “what if’s”.

I am so glad I invested in Healthy Paws Pet Insurance when my Tessa digested a foreign object!

My two year old boxer Tessa became ill with vomiting and loss of appetite (when Tessa refuses to eat something is VERY wrong!) I started with an appointment with her veterinarian and they began a SERIES of x -rays and IV hydration. On a Saturday her vet recommended if she vomited over the weekend she would need to go to Blue Pearl Animal Hospital (a local emergency room and specialty clinic open 24/7.) Sure enough Sunday morning she did vomit and she was in intense pain. We drove to Blue Pearl and she was admitted to doggy ICU for 36 hrs with more x rays, ultra sounds, IV hydration and pain management. She finally passed the squeaker from a toy she had ingested. During the whole process while I was worried for her health, I was not worried about paying for her care. I told all the vets that Tessa had health insurance and I wanted everything done. I felt some relief not having to worry about costs. One vet tech said to me that having pet insurance made his job easier. The process of submitting the claim was easy and Healthy Paws communicated with me via email during the entire process. I was reimbursed the full coverage of Tessa's policy in less than 30 days of submitting the claim. Healthy Paws also sent follow up emails to check on her health. I am very pleased and thankful for Healthy Paws!

Thank God I have nationwide!!!!

When Dillon got sick we didnt know what was wrong untill we bought him to our vet, they thought at first he had a urinary infection , put him on pills , didn’t get any better told us he had to come back for xrays , me and my wife were so afraid what they would find. Then our phone rang and doctor told us he had a stone and he would have to be operated on , we were so upset ! Our poor little Dillon,well everything went well we ere so happy and releaved. But then the bill was to be paid.... I couldn’t beleave the bill , so much money for a little Dog , then I looked at my wife and said don’t worry we have nationwide!! All I could say was God Bless you NATION WIDE , and we are so thankful ! Dillon got the help he needed and we got peace of mind , I feel nationwide will always be there to help us when we need it ,I will tell anyone IF YOU HAVE A PET PLEASEEEE GET NATIONWIDE INSURANCE , if you say you don’t need insurance or it’s too expensive then I don’t feel sorry for you when you get a BIG bill and YOU have to pay out of your $$$$ , I also want to thank Nationwide for asking how Dillon was after his operation , it was a tough 6 weeks to try and keep him quiet, but today he is bounceing all over the house play and enjoying his life . Thank you with all my heart Nationwide & Dillon says thank you for asking about him !!!

Smooth and timely

I've been a customer for around 5 years now, and have generally found the claims process to be smooth and timely. Both my pets are older, and have been diagnosed with chronic renal failure, so the insurance has been very helpful in ensuring that I can afford to monitor their health, and get them the care and treatment they need.

Fast reimbursement

They were late at attending my claims but they emailed me to let me know the reason who. The reimbursement was very fast and whatever refund I had was deposited to my account. Very happy to have Pets best insurance for my dog, Tino.
