Your Pup Needs This Insurance

I tout the benefits of Nationwide Pet Insurance weekly - signed up when my employer began to offer. Before that I had not heard great things. But from day 1, the plan was easy to understand, the fees fair, the customer service EXCEPTIONAL! Without this insurance it would have been financially draining to fund some serious unexpected illness in my pets. I only wish my human insurance company was as easy to work with!

Exceeding Expectations

Have had insurance on my pets for 10+ years and have always appreciated it (as I have rescues and dogs with issues) but recently - the changes made to submitted a claim have just been superb and the change to the automated payment through Chase Bank has been incredibly easy, and the quick turn around from submission to payment has made me the happiest. It is seamless now. Thank you for utilizing all of the technology available to you. really simple process and it the claims where taken care of in a very timely Manner.

Our Lab was diagnosed with OCD in both Knees and had to have double knee surgery. The surgery was a huge sucess and I submitted the claims with proper documentation and they were reviewed and accepted .Thi was ahuge relief to have our cost reduced by Nationwide approving the claims. Very Happy customer!! Our Lab is improving daily ( 6 weeks) and should be back to 100 % in 4 more weeks!

Nationwide is a life-saving insurance plan for pets and a sigh of relief for pet owners

I have used Nationwide (then VPI) for all three of my poodles, and that has been over twenty-five years. I have chosen the Major Medical plan and have been quite pleased with it. The poodle I have now has heart disease, and although I‘ve been given very good reimbursements, I am no longer being reimbursed for the medicine Mexilitene which is prescribed for his ventricular arrhythmia . I do not understand why it is limited because the arrhythmia will never be cured, so this medicine is for the rest of my poodle’s life. That is my major complaint. Second, I would like to use the online invoice feature, but many times I get an email that says the photo of the receipt was not able to be seen. Therefore, I either have to pay to have it faxed or send it by mail. Third, I wish Nationwide would allow vets to submi the full invoice to them, and then have the pet owner pay the balance. This is what other insurances do. Besides those three complaints/suggestions, I am very happy with Nationwide and plan to use them for my next dog.
