Pre-existing problems
Hey, I apologize for not giving Nationwide Pet Insurance a BIG 10. I only gave a 9 because of the pre-existing problems not covered...….but, in all honestly, I can understand why Nationwide and all other pet insurance companies have in this stipulation, i.e., you all would go broke. Harley, my beloved German Shepherd, was rescued at four years old....and he had hip dysplasia caused by the genetic gene with which he was born. Sadly for me that pre-existing condition caused me to be hit hard twice financially, but thankfully today, after having both of his hips replaced, he's an entirely different, active, happy and pain free dog today which warms my heart. However, when his stomach bloated unexpectedly about one month ago, Nationwide came through very well for me financially, and it was greatly appreciated. Thank you.. Only asking now that you and I both keep our fingers crossed Harley's third major surgery was the charm, i.e., no more surgeries ever again after already having had both hips replaced and his stomach repositioned :) Sincerely, Sandra Canepa

Excellent, quick service when submitting a claim
I have recommended Nationwide Pet Insurance to many of my friends and relatives. We have had their insurance for the past few years on two of our dogs. Their customer service, website, claim submission and claim payment are the easiest I have ever seen. We would never own a pet without this insurance.

So easy
Filing claims through the app is so easy. Just fill out a few boxes and take a photo of the bill. After a short time I receive a text for the direct deposit reimbursement. I have always been reimbursed before my credit card payment is due.

Healthy Paws Pet Insurance was the best and smartest decision we made upon adopting our little Missy. At first we thought it was like car insurance. Really, how often would it be needed? What a foolish evaluation that was. We have in fact used it more then I would have ever imagined and thank goodness it was with a company that responds quickly, provides very quick turn around reimbursements and has follow up personal emails to see how the puppy is doing. I can't say enough good things about the service I have received through Nationwide. I have never had pet insurance for any of my dogs in the past and was hesitant to get it. I decided to get it just to be safe. My lab is only 10 months old and I have already had 2 claims that were covered. The claims were easy to submit and quickly taken care of. I have already referred 2 of my friends to Nationwide and would highly recommend them to anyone who asks.
