Fair insurer
Fantastic service, occasional delays with regards to claims and thorough checks of medical records to ensure reimbursement of claims are compatible with the terms of coverage. We had some denials, but with veterinarian records and notes we prevailed on claims. I think this insurer is fair, and as an insured, I am incredibly thankful for that. I highly recommend MetLife pet insurance, I hope this quality of review and reimbursement stays consistent and does not change their terms. It’s something you want to seldom use but it’s reassuring knowing MetLife is there to ensure proper review of claims within terms of the contract and fair processing.

I LOVE my experience with Embrace
I love my experience with Embrace. They process your claims so quickly, normally the same or next day which is unusual for any insurance claims. Very happy with my experience with them and we've used them for over 10 years. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Great pet insurance!
Our dog has been with Healthy Paws insurance since 2019 and we are thrilled with their service. We used them first in California and now in Georgia. The customer service is fantastic and they process claims very quickly. Our dog recently needed a knee surgery and they have been amazing throughout the whole process. Highly recommend!

MetLife Pet Insurance does not…
MetLife Pet Insurance does not acknowledge receipt of claims sent in by Veterinary staff on the actual day of service. Insured then has to send in claims as an email attachment. The claim is acknowledged as having been received and the clock starts ticking for processing at that time. No explanation is given as to what happened to the first submission.
