Best Claims Service

My puppy most recently tore is dewclaw and had to see the vet! I was able to file my claim on my mobile phone the day we saw the vet! And I'm pretty sure I had payment from Nationwide to reimburse me within the next day or two! Pleasantly surprised at the consistent speed at which they acknowledge and process claims. I also find it so sweet that they send personalized notes out to check on my pet after a claim has been made.

LOVE, LOVE Nationwide

Me and CoolWhip love you, Nationwide- VERY easy to do business with and the claims process is the easier than people insurance... BUTTTTT.... year after year, our premiums go up and are now through the roof. You all have covered my pet since she was a baby and her only "health condition" is requiring an annual teeth cleaning. Pls consider your outrageous premium increases bc you are risking losing customers (eg. I can afford to pay for a once a year vet visit and teeth cleaning for her). Other then that.... ROCK ON! :)

Knowing I have Nationwide to back up Veterinarian expenses I don't have to worry about finances when the Vet Dr. says there is something wrong and we have to treat it. Or, if I know my German Shepherd is not feeling well, I don't hesitate to get him in, because I know Nationwide is there to help.

Pet insurance provided us with reassurance that we could provide out pets with the best care possible.

Marta, in July was thought to have a heart tumor, a sarcoma and there was nothing we could do to treat her. She had ascites and a pericardial effusion which they drained the fluid surrounding her heart. She was in right sided heart failure. 7 weeks went by and she was still with us. Another cardiac ultrasound was done and she was in the 5% that was idiopathic. She did not have a heart tumor after all. The cost to diagnose was very expensive and I thank the insurance for covering most /all the cost. The cost of the yearly premium was so worth it. You never know what unexpected events your pet will have to go through. For us, the outcome was nothing short of a miracle. We will never have a pet that doesn't have insurance.
