Claims process
The claims process is fairly easy. I immediately receive an email that says my claim was received. However due to high claims processing it sometimes takes awhile to actually process my claim.

ASPCA Insurance has been a blessing!
My dog Lexi unfortunately has had more than her share of joint related issues and injuries. Thankfully we have the insurance that enables us to provide the care she needs. Nationwide has been an excellent partner in this first year of our puppy's life
I was skeptical about purchasing pet insurance but our daughter "did some math" for us and it did seem like it would be worth it so, although it was a higher monthly rate than I'd expected, we enrolled. I'm so very glad we did! Our puppy has swallowed all kinds of crazy things requiring emergency care, she's needed to get her nails cut at the vet (we don't seem to be able to do it very well) and we've had some important vaccinations and well-dog visits. Nationwide has honored every promise and saved us so much money. They have never rejected or disputed any claim. Also, submitting the claim is very easy. We use an app that simply asks we upload images of the paperwork which I do while in the parking lot of the vet! That means the claim gets filed immediately. Then Nationwide sends an email letting me know they got the claim and I can relax because I know the ball is in their court. Within days they process the claim, notify me and within a click of a button I authorize the payment to be directly deposited into my account. It's SO easy and SO worth it. I appreciate Nationwide, the ease of use, their customer service and the great value that this insurance has provided to our family this first year of our dog's life. I recommend it.
