efficient and friendly
All of my questions and concerned are answered by friendly and knowledgable people. The claims process could not be easier with the app. Take pictures of my recipients/documentation, submit, then accept payment. A few business days later the money transferred to my bank account.

I don’t have any complaints with my actual service. They have been very good to me for the most part but I will say I have a lot of friends that have purchased dogs lately and when I suggested nationwide I was absolutely horrified when I saw what the premium was. For a puppy my friend was quoted 193. That’s outrageous. I was just told my own policy is going up almost $30 that is a huge champ and I’m currently looking for other insurances. Geico is very reasonable and healthy paws also. There are way more places offering insurance now to be price gauging like that

Poor customer service
Takes way to Long to get a claim paid. I also tried to chat with someone on the website about it and they would not check into it or discuss it. They simply said they are sorry for the delay And they are experiencing a high claims volume then disconnected our chat. That is what they say every single time! Sounds to me like you guys need to hire more help, The lack of help is certainly affecting customer service! I have been a huge advocate of Pets Best and referred numerous SAR & POLICE K9 here add my Kimber is a SAR K9 and I am a dog trainer. If this service issue doesn't change very soon we will be switching carriers and will no longer be referring anyone to Pets Best

Very impressed
We had just had a year long struggle with our home owners insurance that had finally settled. Then my dog tears his CCL and requires TPLO surgery. I dreaded the claim process and geared up for the “inevitable” fight. I was so pleasantly surprised when we got an email notice within 7 days that our claim had been approved and our check arrived 2 days later. That is how insurance is supposed to work! I also thought the personalized email asking about how my dog was doing was a great touch. Highly recommend Healthy Paws!

Great insurance for your pet.
Insurance coverage is great and affordable. Our dog has been to the vets and most of the cost have been greatly covered--about 85%. Of course he is a puppey and has not had any major health issues to date. Claim are easy to file and claims are paid within a matter of day after submitted.

Pets Best has really helped us out with our Lab and has been one of the best things we could have done for him! They are very responsive and delivery on their timelines that are predicted. If there is an issue, they reach out to you and explain items instead of just denying them with no explanation. The terms are clearly spelled out so you know what you are getting and paying for. Claim should have been sooner
The claim should have been paid faster. The initial claim submitted had a preliminary diagnosis and declined. It was then re-submitted with a different and final diagnosis, but based on the original date of treatment. It was paid but had to go into a new 30 day cycle, delaying the disbursement of funds then by another 3-4 week period. If an initial claim is resubmitted with an updated diagnosis based on the original injury, it should not have to be treated as new claim.
