I truly can’t say enough good things about MetLife Pet Insurance. I am absolutely over the moon with how incredible this company has been. From the moment I signed up, they’ve been clear, straightforward, and timely—everything you hope for but rarely get with insurance providers. The app is intuitive and easy to use, making it simple to submit claims and track progress. Every claim I’ve submitted has been evaluated quickly and transparently. And when I’ve needed to call, I’ve spoken with genuinely kind and empathetic representatives—real people who understand what it means to love a pet like family. Right now, I’m facing something I never imagined: one of my dogs is battling cancer. It’s heartbreaking and overwhelming. But through this terrible chapter, MetLife has lifted an enormous weight. Their coverage has removed the financial burden and stress, allowing me to focus on my dog’s care—not the cost. Without this insurance, I don’t know how I could have afforded the treatments he needs. Increased policy by a couple thousand every year on top of the $400 deductible that doesn’t cover preventative care, dental, etc. They want over 8k this year & once a dog is 16 they have preexisting conditions other companies won’t cover - so embrace takes advantage of that.

My dog recently went through not one, but two TPLO surgeries, and I honestly don’t know what I would have done without Healthy Paws. From start to finish, they’ve been amazing. 🐕❤️ The reimbursement process couldn’t be easier... seriously. I just uploaded a photo of the vet receipt through their app, and boom, that was it. I don’t like that your employees can’t tell me if my pet’s procedure will be covered or not. Especially when my vet gives me an entire breakdown of everything needed to be done.

Disappointed with Embrace – Insect Bite Not Considered an “Accident”
I purchased accident coverage from Embrace to ensure my dog, Daisy, would be protected in unexpected situations. Unfortunately, when she suffered a clear reaction to insect bites after playing in a field—something any pet owner would reasonably consider an accident—Embrace denied the claim. The veterinarian's note confirmed that her symptoms were consistent with insect bites or stings, yet Embrace still refused to cover the incident under the accident plan. It’s incredibly frustrating and disheartening to realize that even straightforward, unpredictable injuries like this don’t qualify under their definition of “accident.” I bought this policy in good faith, expecting that basic, common emergencies would be covered. Instead, I feel misled. What exactly is the point of paying for accident insurance if it doesn't actually protect your pet when accidents happen? I strongly caution other pet owners to read the fine print very carefully. In my experience, Embrace overpromises and underdelivers. This feels like a scam disguised as insurance.
